Olissippo Oriente

I liked the location but for the price it was over priced for the room accommodations. Old out dated furniture. Lobby and reception area updated but an extreme contrast for what the room looked like. Was told at reception this room 630 was an upgrade. It was noisy, doors slamming often. One night On August it appeared to be a puppy in the room next to me.

Better price or update the rooms, furniture. Assured the elevators are cleaned daily of spills etc. Breakfast menu updated. Scrambled eggs were tasteless,salt and pepper shakers need to be on each table and free a little bit free flowing.

Location - very close to the shopping area of parque das nações, comfort - lovely bed and everywhere was where it should be to make the stay comfortable, service - very friendly staff and we really appreciated the help with the bags up to and down from the room. It was also very clean. Overall excellent, especially for the price.

The decoration wasn’t to my taste, I’ve stayed in another hotel of the same chain and it was a lot more modern but that’s just personal taste and didn’t affect our comfort in any way.

Hotel is far from city center, but close to the airport. No free shuttle, but it is a 10 minute drive. The hotel is located in the new part of the city near the new harbor, shopping Vasco da Gama, aquarium and cable cars. Metro is also a 5 minute walk, so still convenient, but away from the old city center and tourist area. We had an early flight, so location was very good and the hotel is super comfortable. Also nice that breakfast starts early. Positive points: parking within the building free breakfast with good selection and early start room was comfortable and spacious restaurants, shops and attractions nearby minibar in the room

Negative points: far from city center sofa bed was ok for a 5 year old, but would not be comfortable for a grown up front desk staff could have been nicer

The location is far from the center but at the same time, far from the crowd, you will have peace during the night, metro and train station are close. The hotel is air-conditioned, which is very important, especially in the summer months and nearby is Oceanario de Lisboa that is must see and also Telecabine. Stuff was amazing, room are very specious, a lot of nice restaurants around.

The breakfast could be more varied (salad for example) and the ovals could be filled with food more often. There are not enough plugs in the rooms, you have to turn off the lamp to charge your phone.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Coffee machine in the room with 4 capsules replenished daily. Location is near the Lisbon Expo, Aquarium and cable car. Breakfast was delicious and service is prefect. Hotel has an underground parking space, which is a must as there is very little free parking in the street.

Lack of a swimming pool. On the days we were visiting, weather was hot. A swimming pool or SPA to refresh after a day of waling would have been a nice addition. Other than this, we loved everything!

A nice, modern hotel, in the middle of the modern area of Lisbon, close to the train, bus and subway stations. Walking distance to a big shopping mall with an excellent food court. The room and bathroom were spacious and nicely done. Everything was very clean and well kept. We got a big bottle of water, two cookies and a bottle of Porto as complimentary service. The staff was nice and helpful, and spoke good English. Excellent value for money.

We only stayed for one night and didn't get breakfast, as we had to fly back home in the morning. But will look at booking this hotel again if we get to return to Lisbon soon.

We were very well served by the staff. Olissippo is a decent 4 star hotel, with facilities like you'd expect like a bar and restaurant and decent rooms. It's in great location of you want to explore the Expo redeveloped area of Nations Park and the Oriente area. What stood out for us was the excellent customer service. We changed the date of our booking and then the room, twice, and all was dealt with charm and attention by the multilingual staff. Also, the breakfast was very good for a typical 4* establishment - better than average for a good price of €10 ph. Overall, highly recommended.

Beautiful, comfortable, very convenient location - 5 min by foot to the undeground station. Very clean, staff are friendly and helpful.

Breakfast: very few healthy options. One day I had to wait 20 min for fried eggs just because a bit more people were there (not even full breakfast room capacity). Cucumber were bitter, most of the vegies not tasty. Sometimes there were no cold milk available. Staff are trying to take your plate from the table in a second once you stand up to get something else :).

The hotel is just a short walk from the Oriente train/bus/metro station and also from the huge Oceanarium. There are many restaurants closeby - I really liked Honest Greens, close to the Oceanarium. I had a room on the 7th floor with a view of the water, a very comfortable double bed, laptop safe, large wardrobe and opening window. All the staff were helpful, but one man on reception was amazingly helpful (thank you) with bus times to get the other side of Lisbon to the historic quarter - there is a bus that goes door to door. Breakfast was good and varied.

In the breakfast room, staff were extremely quick to remove dirty plates (even before you had finished with them!) but quite slow to replenish food and drinks in the buffet.
