Hotel ibis Budget Porto Gaia

I really liked how private and convenient the service was. Arriving very late or early morning. Receptionist greeted with a smile. They agreed to give me extra pillow for myself

The room was always extremely warm. I am from the caribbean, my partner from Porto, still felt weird how warm the room stayed and it wasnt clear got to lower the temperature. Cleaning staff, when encountered on the hall didnt look happy. Many scratches on the floor, the hotel should invest on renewing the hotel, restorative maintenance. Sometimes the TV had a twitch, the WC in the room needs better ventilation, would love to get hair conditioner in the shower

Great convenient affordable hotel a short taxi ride away from downtown Porto. Good sufficient breakfast included along with happy helpful staff, highly reccommended for anyone on a budget.

Nothing to dislike, great budget Ibis in good location.

I really loved the shower, very spacious and comfortable. The room size was small but decent for a few nights. Beds were comfortable but I asked for a 2nd pillow. Breakfast was nice for the price, for dinner because they don't have a restaurant we went to the other ibis hotel a few steps away and ate really well. The hairdryer can be rented for 10€ then they return the money when you give back the hairdryer. Water, coffee from the machines were 1€ so cheaper than going out. You can walk but it's not easy so we took the bus then the metro and we only took about half an hour into town. If you are 3 people then a taxi is the same price as you would pay for transport.

welcome reception only took a couple of minites and we were all checked in,Very Very helpful stafe ondered a taxi for next morning early and it arrived prompt and spoke English(perfect).Breakfast was fresh and restaurant clean ,we left fortified and ready for the day.

out of hours servis was by vending machine only excepting payment by card on phones (not helpful for us oldies) ,was told to use other Ibis 50 meters away for any requirments ,not good at 04:00 in the morning.

Clean and comfortable ideal for overnight stay. It was a little cramped for us - tiny shower and sink actually in the room, no separate bathroom but we expected that for a Budget Ibis. Moved across the road to the Ibis for our remaining 3 nights. Nice breakfast and staff were friendly and helpful. It was a little out of the City centre but a €6 taxi ride took roughly 10 mins depending on traffic

The staff are the best; all of them are really nice. Bruno in particular explained to me with many details the bus and metro systems. I moved around Porto-Gaia and Matosinhos without any problems. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good.

it is not easy to access to the hotel walking.

Nice a quite new property. Clean and functional. Can't say much as we checked in left the hotel and came back for sleep only. Decent breakfast, good range of products, some sweet pastries as well. All you needed was there.

The room was a little bit small for two boys, but for one night did a job.

great budget hotel. cleaniless was fantastic and bonus to have breakfast each morning. i loved the location at 5 minutes walk to marina and you can go left to coast or right to city so you had great location for everything and to get out and walk and take in the sights.

Safe parking for the motorbike. Very nice helpful staff. Good clean bedroom and shower. Walking distance to several restaurants to have tasty fresh fish.

The cleaness of the entire facility, the hotel workers sympathy and the all of the breakfast truly amazing!

The air conditioning should be controlled by the customers and not by the system.
