Hotel Santo Andre

The staff was nice and helpful when it came to check-in , check out and our luggage transfer service. The lobby was nice. The breakfast was good. The location, right on the boardwalk for the Camino Portuguese (littoral route) made it a great choice. Beach was right there. The pool looked nice, but it was too early in the season to swim.

The rooms did not have bedside places to plug in our phones to recharge. This was tough because my husband's cpap machine cord barely reached the adjacent wall outlet, and my phone had to recharge in the bathroom. The rooms need updating so they match the lobby.

the pool was magnificent after a long day of hiking. This place was in the middle of nowhere, but perfect for the camino. Wonderful to be outside of the city, on the ocean. Good sized rooms - balconies, and dining room for both dinner and breakfast.

if you’re sensitive to noise, then beware. The walls are very thin - we could clearly hear my friends talk in the room next to us (could hear exactly what they were saying), and those using the toilet above our room.

The location is perfect - right on the beach, on the Camino. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dinner was good as was breakfast.

The hotel is a little dated, but clean and comfortable with great staff. The AC didn't work in our room but it was cool outside so it was not a problem (they offered a different room, but they did not have the view of the ocean).

Situated on the beach, away from the town yet close enough to geht everywhere most easily - even Oporto Airport was but a really quick drive. We ended our vacation there, more or less by chance. It wrapped up a splendid holiday in Portugal most perfectly! Friendliest and most helpful staff ever, most deliciuos authentical food and right at the seafront. We are sure to book here again when returning.

The hotel is old, but the location is definitely worth the visit. Beach under your windows, with a beautiful view of the sunset from the restaurant. We were allowed to check-in 2h before the actual check-in time, thanks a lot!

We had only one socket in the far corner of the room, which was uncomfortable when you have 4 devices to charge. Coffee for breakfast was awful :(

Amazing location right on beach giving epic Sunsets every evening I was there .. great walks along beach both north and south for miles .. Great restaurants south of Hotel also , including the Barracuda Mar a fish only local restaurant on beach , I had an Octopus leg, squid, prawns , muscles , was delicious food , with great views . Beach was beautiful and went on for miles . Food in hotel was ok with a typical continental breakfast and a. Bodice of cooked dishes in evening with a bar .

Very convenient to the coastal Camino. Great sea views. Friendly, helpful staff at reception and in the dining room. Enjoyed the evening meal and breakfast.

A bit dated but fine for our short stay.

location - right on the Camino Portuguese. sound of the waves breaking on the beach was very nice to lull you to sleep.

the shower door leaked water into the bathroom. otherwise the room was awesome

Beach was directly in front of my Room. Great! The Hotel was reachable from my pathway directly. The included Breakfast was really good and the restaurant offered a good dinner.

Besides that the hotel seemed on the inside like a small time travel back to the '80s - which was no problem, because the bed was really comfortable - there are no negative points. Thank You!

The location and views, the room, the quietness

The orange juice at breakfast was a disappointment- for a four star hotel, it should be proper orange juice not from a carton.
