Hotel Brazão

Very smart stylish hotel , with super friendly, multi lingual staff. It was easy to get everywhere we wanted to be . The room was basic but spotlessly clean, the air con was excellent. Breakfast was very European but nice , with fresh breads and pastries each day and lots and lots of bacon ! There was hot water and fresh drinking water available 24 hours a day . Guests were a mix of European holiday makers and Portuguese business travelers. The photos on the website matched what we got

No kettle in the room( a posh coffee is only 80 cents in all the local cafes so it wasn't a huge issue) We had a twin room but weren't permitted to buy a second key We had to move the bed and bedside cabinet to open the drawers in the wardrobe .

Location is prime, amazing to roam around the city. The reception ladies were great. There's always someone even at night which was convenient to park the car. It also was very affordable compared to other places

The hotel needs refurbishment. Despite the rooms size, the bed could have been renovated & breakfast was very simple (not much choice).

We stayed here once ages ago and at that time it was rather gloomy and old fashioned. Now it's had an upgrade and is bright and welcoming. Staff were pleasant. Our room was comfortable.Breakfast was good with choices of hot and cold food.

Our room had a smell of damp around the bathroom. It was also rather noisy at night because the window didn't shut properly.

My most expensive hotel so far but only 55 euros. Felt very luxurious as had a bath. Comfortable beds. I was in heaven. It is in the centre of the town. The reception recommended a good restuarant nearby, who did a pilgrims menu for me. Breakfast was very good with cheese, meat, fruit and some hot items.

No laundry facilities but they pointed me towards a self serve. There are 3vin the town. Within 40 mins, all my kit was dry and clean, all for 4 euros (included washing powder and fabric conditioner)

Great location with onsite parking and the hotel was clean. The suite rooms have separate bedrooms and sitting room. The furniture in the sitting room is a bit dated. Our first check in clerk was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful.

Some dated furniture. They were insistant on their check in time. No suggestion that an early check in was possible.

This hotel was well-priced and centrally located in Vila do Conde. There was a fairly easy walk to two metro stations and a 15 minute walk to the beach. The hotel is very popular with tourists doing thel "Camino" hike that passes through town. Breakfast was plentiful and the person on charge kept the food stocked.

Really nice. Location right on the Camino. Staff excellent. Nice guests. Quality breakfast including some cooked items. Quiet bar and lounge area. Rooms may look a little dated in the photos but they are in good condition with little wear. Such good value for money.

Nothing other than perhaps the bath had a couple of chips.

Room is spacious, bed is comfortable, staff are very friendly. Easy to check-in and out. Also booked an airport taxi easily for 5am. Breakfast is good. Room is generally quiet and overall I would really recommend this hotel.

During busy times you can really hear the traffic outside since it's close to the main road, and the metro too. The bathroom could also use some updating.

Great location, staff really friendly. Second time staying at the hotel. Rooms are great, comfortable, and clean. Will definitely return.

Would be nice to have a do not disturb sign in the room, and maybe some signs to use for cleaners not to change the towels and sheets unless requested.

Ideally situated in the centre of Vila do Conde. Have stayed here many times before, and always an excellent service. Covid-19 measures are fully in place and felt very secure. Breakfast buffet is plentiful and varied - will suit any requirement.

The one area the hotel could improve is to have some food available in the evenings - but there are numerous reasonable restaurants within a 5 minute walk
