Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest Old Town

The location very good and easy for a tourist trip and is in heart of oldtown… so you can feel the vibration of the city but have a lot of gipsys and some prostitutes around the hotel. I really enjoy the room and the hotel

They DONT have parking. I choose Hilton because it says they has parking but they don’t. They just advice you to park 2 blocks from the hotel

Great location, downtown most are within walking distance. The hotel is new , the staff is friendly. The rooms are large clean and comfortable. Everything like facilities and service is great!

Our stay was for New Year, the rooms overlooked the old part of town which is full of bars, and on 01.01 and 02.01 despite the high class windows until 5:30-6:00 you could not sleep both days, it was terrible because the music was very loud until the morning

Outside of the hotel entrance was a taxi No: B 139 GNY “TAXI MONDIAL” We used to bring us at near restaurant He took from us 100 without use taxi meter, instead of 18 that we paid for our return to the hotel and he left us far away from the restaurant and after we try to find the restaurant walking When we return at the hotel we show the same taxi out of the hotel entrance again waiting to steel another client We ask reception help to call Police, but they said that they cannot do it because they don’t want to have problems !!!!!! I think that is a great shame for a HILTON this behavior

This hotel is located perfectly for the Old Town and the standards and cleanliness was 4 star.

The air conditioning system was very noisy and made for an uncomfortable disturbed sleep. Even when we turned off the room system completely, it made little difference and when we spoken to the receptionist about it, they said this was a problem throughout the building. So, if you like a quiet nights sleep, this is not the hotel for you.

1. The location was as good as it gets. Everything was in and around the area. There are lot of good eating areas around.. 2. The breakfast was decently good, although better to go at least 1 hour before the closing time (which varies between weekday and weekends). Again sometimes you might have to wait a bit, we didn't have to but some others had to. 3. The rooms were nice and clean. 4. The service staffs were helpful but most were not the smiley kinds except the front office ones. Nothing wrong with that as long as they are doing their job well. 5. Everybody understands English language well.

1. The housekeeping and room service were not up to to the standard of such elite chains. Had to reach them through the reception multiple times. Although it may have been due to higher occupancy during our stay days, we don't know. For the delay in service, they did give us complementary drinks, must acknowledge the gesture. 2. The price was perhaps a shade expensive for what we got but again it may have been the location premium. 3. Construction was happening just outside the hotel, but that's not the fault of the hotel.

We had a great time , the room was excellent, very clean( housekeeping are doing a great job! )The staff very friendly and helpful.Very easy to get around and close to restaurants. Good breakfast . Staff are helpful and very welcoming. Many thanks to Daniela that looked me after as I accidentally cut my finger with the bread knife . She responded very quickly ! Also all the breakfast staff are working very hard to provide the best service as we could have expected. Thank you Marian , Dana , Robert, Gabi and Elena.

N/A I totally disagree with some negative comments that people leave and labelling the staff as rude and not smiling. They were respectful and they were trying their best. People miss interpret cross cultural communication ie direct vs indirect.

The hotel location is great; on the edge of the pedestrian zone, so cabs/Ubers can get to you easily but you can also get to heart of the old town easily. Loads of cool things to see and do within a short walk. The hotel is upscale for the city. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

The only real drawback is the price; it's more expensive than most other hotels. I booked because other hotel reviews indicated the guests experienced a lot of noise at night and couldn't sleep. I paid more to avoid that.

The location was excellent, in the entrance of the Old town. Everything was at a walking distance, restaurants, bars and important monuments/museums. The staff was very kind and helpful, we got a complimentary upgrade to a junior suite. The room was clean, spacious and had a nice view of the city as it was on the 6th floor. Breakfast was really good, with a range of options. I would definitely recommend it.

Although the room had triple windows, as there are plenty of bars around, on Saturday night there was a bit of noise. Didn't bother us really though.

We stayed at the hotel for a few days, asked for a room on the upper floors - settled with a view of the city. The room was comfortable, there was an iron, ironing board, water was supplied every day, bathroom products were of very high quality, a good hair dryer. It was comfortable to sleep, in the evenings and until about 01:00 there was music from the streets, but not critical for sleep. Breakfast varied, tasty, fruits were excellent. The restaurant is small and can be bustling and noisy during rush hour. The location suited us very well, close to a shop, cafes, currency exchange, restaurants, museums and theaters. We drove to Otopeni airport for about 40-50 minutes in the evening due to traffic jams.

experienced poor service in the restaurant at lunch and dinner. Firstly, with a completely empty restaurant, we waited for our order for about 40 minutes, and they didn’t even offer water ((. The waiters didn’t come up, didn’t apologize and didn’t ask to wait a little more! When it began to get dark outside, they didn’t even turn on the light in the hall. They took the bill for a very long time.They do not tell about the dishes, they do not recommend anything.The staff at breakfast is not welcoming
