Moxy Bucharest Old Town

Amazing Hotel and great design! wow !! The Hotel location is super great! Fast elevators, great gym room, great bar and cool lobby and sitting place! The breakfast is very good! also staff are very nice and friendly! house keeping doing great job! I like the shower and good soaps! Huge TV in the room and option the cast

No safe box in the room No chair in the room No phone in the room (how to contact with the reception ?) at least give us option to text the reception if needed No place to put the clothes on - no closet or even shelf’s to put your clothes on very tiny table No refrigerator in the room

A funky hotel, with great vibes, great location, friendly staff, clean rooms and affordable bar prices, what more could you ask for?

Not much, only negative i can say and this is nit picking. Breakfast could have some more variety.

Excellent stay at The Moxy Bucharest! The hotel was bright and trendy, very clean and set in fabulous location and near to night life, restaurants, bars etc! Checkin was quick, and staff we met are all so friendly. Room was lovely, nice and quiet and bed was sooo comfy! Good size bathroom and powerful shower with quality toiletries, there is also a hairdryer. Breakfast was nice with lots of choice, so something for everyone. Bar staff were great, we had a night cap each night on returning to hotel… a lovely way to finish the evening, and with reasonably priced drinks. On our last night we watched them making cocktails for a large group of people… so thought, why not? Also indulged in the local spirit, which near blew our heads off and probably a big mistake with early flight next morning… but a lovely experience and so much fun at the time… we loved it! We stayed in December for the Christmas market, which was just a short walk away and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We loved Bucharest, loved The Moxy and would highly recommend!

My only issue is storage in room… not much hanging / drawers for clothes, but we were only there for a weekend so it was fine for us.

Its privileged location which allowed us to walk to every place we wanted to visit; its cleanliness; the comfort of the room (great mattress, big TV with cable, nice shower…); the informal environment; the quality of breakfast (we paid 9 euro for it).

Nothing. It was really good. When we arrived, it was late night on a Friday and there was a DJ playing in the lobby, music was very loud so we were a bit concerned we wouldn’t be able to rest for our first day, which we like to start early. However, we were very well received (with a shot included) and once we went up to the room, we could hear absolutely nothing, as the soundproofing is top notch.

My three days at Moxy Hotel were great. The location is amazing, just on the edge of the Old Center, which creates the perfect balance; what I mean by this is that I was very close (literally a 2 minute walk) to the fun Bucharest night life but I was just far enough to have some peace and quiet when returning to Moxy's. The staff I spoke to speak good English and can help you with anything you need. They let me keep my suitcase and backpack in a safe spot at their hotel after I had checked out so I could later return and get it. They are always available including late at night. I was able to check in at 3 AM, which was very good for me. The room was fantastic. It had everything I needed and on two separate occasions I left the hotel to see the city and the room (including my things) was perfectly cleaned up. My girlfriend loved the place at well and enjoyed all the little things the room had to offer. I didn't notice almost any noise, and I felt perfectly at home. In conclusion, I would very much like to stay here again and when I return to Bucharest this is where I will stay. This is perfect for couples and for English speakers.

I only wish the room was cheaper, so I could stay here more often! I don't have a lot of money. I would like to stay here so many more times, I just need to get enough money to do it.

The location is perfect. Just few steps from the old town. The lobby/reception area is cozy. The rooms are clean and tidy.

It was a bad surprise that even in the superior rooms they don’t provide a complimentary bottle of water. I believe is essential for every room as well as the absence of kettle! It’s impossible to make a cup of coffee in the room. The breakfast is ok for someone who stays for a weekend as for longer stays it becomes boring as the variety is very limited. Last but not least when I questioned the absence of a kettle (I don’t talk for coffee machine!) the blond girl at the reception/bar instead of trying to be helpful as I would be staying for 4 nights- on the contrary was very rude indicating to me that I should have booked the “moxy superior” room 🤦‍♀️ anyway overall for the it’s price is ok - but definitely there are better options in the area.

Very good location, you could visit the old town on foot. Breakfast was nice. Not too many choices but tasty. It would be nice to have a rail where you can place your tray while choosing your breakfast. I also loved the lobby decoration and the elevator 🤫

The room was very hot (on February) and we didn't sleep well. On the 2nd night we figured out how to turn on the ac instead of the heating. We stayed on the 6th floor and we could hear music from nearby clubs at night. Not too loud to disturb your sleep.

The location is amazing, most of the Bucharests tourist attactions are on a walking distance, the hotel was very clean and in a good neighbourhood we did note face any noise issues at all. Internet was fantastic, they had amazing hot water running from the taps, staff were very friendly, they even let us check in early without any additional fees.

The room has very little storage, you don't get any wardrobe (which is very common these days) but you don't get a any side tables with drawers as well. The Only thing you get ise couple of hangers to hang to the wall attachment and two side tables that you can barely fit anything. The room temparature was fixed to 24 C degrees, which was a little chilly for us, we tried to fix it first and then we informed the staff but they told us that it ise standart for every room which is kind of strange because not everybody can adjust to a standart room temperature.

There is no fridge in the room not even a small wardrobe to put your stuff. Standard double room is very small, I stayed alone but for two be sure it's not enough space. If tou have a big luggage and you want to unpack something you don't have enough space to even pass it. No idea about other room types, but I wouldn't recommend standard if you are a couple. For a 3 star hotel, fridge and a small wardrobe are basic requirements. I can understand the concept but you also need to think about some practical aspects.

The coolest hotel I have ever stayed. The location is perfect, close to most tourist spots. The hotel is new, innovative, has an amazing decoration and smells so good. Impeccable cleanliness. When we arrived, we got a free drink shot at the reception. We were very well treated. The reception staff are amazing, kind, attentive and fun. The reception is also home to the hotel bar. They have many cool games and office spaces with computer. There are an withdrawal cash machine inside the hotel and lockers to left luggage. The breakfast is worth it - we didn't find many breakfast options around the center, most open only at 11am. This is the best place you can stay in Bucharest, no doubt.
