Mercure Bucharest City Center

Clean and decent location but not the best but then Bucharest Uber and Bolt is easy and cheap and good restaurants near by and a short drive.

The location can be better but then the price would be higher

The hotel location, room, and breakfast exceeded our expectations. The reception, checkout, and assistance services on all other topics were compelling, fast, and informative. Hotel location in the city center.

The room curtains are transparent to sunlight and therefore disrupt sleep every morning. The cost of early/late arrival/checkout time was relatively high. We were not informed of the closure of the main street for car traffic (namely, Calle Victoria) for the whole weekend.

Alexandra was our first encounter with your staff and she was excellent, very knowledgeable about the area and places to eat. A five for sure! Irina was so very helpful the next morning when I experienced a minor medical issue and needed to see a Doctor. She made numerous calls until she was able to locate a facility that we needed. She then extended our checkout time until we were able to return to the hotel. You are very lucky to have these two wonderful ladies representing your hotel! Again a huge thank you to Irina for her assistance

Clean rooms,good breakfast

The bath towels were very small like hand towels.I think they should replace with a bath robe. I called room service to order a bucket of ice. The waiter called me and ask me to come down because he is alone that he can’t leave the bar. This is Mercury Hotel I don’t understand how can they ask customer to come down and get the ice bucket. So I had to get my own ice bucket by myself. You have to educate your staff.

Big room, clean, great location.

Mattress was a bit noisy. Elevator is difficult to use when having a lot of luggage because it requires the card every time. Parking is difficult. Front rotating door not worked most of the time. A bit expensive for what it provides. No staff to help out with luggage( at least open a door)

Great location, comfortable room with plenty of space despite the extra bed for our daughter. The breakfast was great, I only really missed fresh orange juice, but everything was really tasty and plentiful otherwise. I also think they had very good breakfast times, until 11am at weekends! Also the staff were all very nice and helpful.

Everything , The hotel crew was kind and help me in everything I needed with kindess and smile . The hotel location is one of the best , 2 minutes walk from the platinum casino , there are very good resturants in the hotel area as well. The room is very clean and and there are tools making coffe as well. This is my 3 th time in this hotel I have never been disopointed.

Great hotel in the heart of the city, surrounded by beautiful historic landmarks of Bucharest; the location is very convenient close to Piata Romana subway station, with plenty of excellent restaurants nearby.

I have nothing to complaint about, everything was excellent, room, breakfast, location, cleanliness; very warm in the room with options to adjust the temperature to fit your needs. A really excellent option right in the city center and a good value for money.

Customer service above and beyond at all times. Location is just in the middle of everything, couldn't have been better. Comfortable bed, nice looking room, secure space for valuables, plenty of storage room.

No spa, no tours, no entertainment, empty social spaces, lifeless venue, poor food range, shower water never hot, just lukewarm, no info or tips about local attractions, transport or nearby venues to dine or spend time in

New, clean, exceptional location

I really can’t think of anything substantial. Maybe the system for exiting the underground garage: you have to give the car registration to the receptionist; mine was a rental and I had a hard time locating the required info. Also, on the last day, the barrier did not lift. Had I been alone this wd have been a real pain; on this occasion my wife, who was outside, just walked ten yards to the reception and they lifted it.
