ibis Styles Bucharest City Center

Everything else we loved it. Check-in was easy, the hotel design had traditional Romanian motifs all around (walls, carpet, lamps) what made it quite cohesive. Breakfast was good. They took seriously COVID-19 measures.

One night in room 102. The only we didn't like was the WiFi signal was very bad in our room and that the air conditioning wasn't so strong so the room was hot (you must consider we come from Finland).

Great location, just a 15min walk to Old Town, but quiet. Claudia on reception was lovely! Sorted our local map, airport transfer in the middle of the night and lent us a UK plug adapter for our stay! Great room, comfy bed, quiet. Great balcony & able to smoke on it which is convenient. Good breakfast included in the stay. Really good local shop right next door, sold everything you could want including hot food options and possibly the best slice of fresh cake I've ever had!

Avoid the restaurant for anything other than breakfast. Limited menu, expensive and not great food unfortunately. Main male restaurant attendant was EXTREMELY rude. He seemed above wanting to help us with our food orders on multiple occasions. Ignored us, rolled his eyes, HISSED?! and walked away from my partner who had to get up from the table and go in search of him. On our last evening we chose to eat at the hotel for ease and this male restaurant attendant actually ruined our final meal. We wished we hadn't bothered with dinner and considered leaving without paying. He needs a serious talking to about why he is there, and what his job responsibilities are. The main one being polite to the people who are staying in the hotel.

I am quite a frequent traveller and though I tend to stay in 4* or higher this hotel came recommended to me. There is nothing to fault on this hotel, the price is extremly competitive, the rooms are up-to-date and with very comphy beds, the bathroom completly functional, bedrooms are cleaned daily with change of towels, the breakfast has plenty to choose from and the staff are very friendly! I even had dinner in the hotel one night and thought the price/quality ratio was spectacular. It is also just a 15 minute walk into the city center and the Romanian Athenaeum.

All hotel services were spot in, maybe they should be a bit stricter with the "wearing masks inside the hotel" policy ;)

I was lucky to book this new, super comfortable and extremely friendly hotel. It really felt like home away from home for a few days. The hotel is very central and you can walk anywhere. In addition it is such a great value for money - I have booked much more expensive hotels on my trips before but Ibis Styles would beat many of those easily by how much it has to offer. Claudia at the reception was exceptional, her positivity and warmth is great. Also, the lady-waitress (or manager?) at the restaurant was just superb, made me feel so welcome. Thank you Ibis Styles for a great experience and a great team!

A hotel with reasonable quality as for this price. It is not a very high standard, but just fine. Very friendly personnel, especially in the restaurant, which made our stay really nice. Good breakfast. Restaurant menu is short and the dishes rather simple, but everything was very tasty. Not so far from the Bucharest centre (like 20 min. walk). Ideal for a few days stay.

Hard to say. Perhaps the wifi which was not the most efficient ;-) Also the hotel direct vicinity is not ultra nice because it is located at a crossroad of two busy streets (but it was not a problem for us at all).

The breakfast was very good. I really liked that it was available early in the morning. Except for the air vents, the room was clean. The location is really good. Also, I really appreciated the restaurant.

A bit cold in the room and, according to reception, without any possibility to turn on the heat. At least you can make it cooler in the summer, when it’s really hot outside. Noisy ventilation system, which you can’t control. It turns off automatically around 01:00 at night and starts again in the morning. I normally go to sleep at 23:00 and I would have preferred it to turn off around that time instead. It blows cold air with a lot of dust and it’s really annoying. Overall, a decent hotel but below the level of other Ibis hotels from the group.

Very nice opening for myself to find such a nice place to stay in Bucharest! In my point of view this is just perfect place to stay and I definitely will choose to stop here again and again for my upcoming trips which are often! Location is very good as for me, walking distance to center and nice parts of the city! Extremely good design and interior both in the room and entire hotel! My room was super comfortable and clean! Comfortable bed and very good shower! All in all I felt like home, cozy and comfortable! I should underline the personal on reception extremely nice, polite and helpful! Big pleasure to meet such a nice people! Also all the staff working on restaurant and bar is very very nice and friendly!!! So careful and attentive to all the guests! And very good breakfasts by the way - fresh and tasty food! So to summarize I would say it`s definitely my choice for next staying in Bucharest (next month actually) - comfortable, modern, clean, good located hotel with extremely beautiful personal! :) Thank you very much! Very clean rooms and comfortable rooms, great breakfast with a wide variety of food and freshly brewed coffee. Top location! Staff was also very friendly and helpful. We were very satisfied with our choice.

No water in the rooms? We had a long way before coming to the hotel and really needed some refreshment, the shops were closed and they didn’t offer any water in the rooms, also in the lobby fridge they were out of water. Also, something was very wrong with the water in the bathroom. Every time we were taking a shower we burned ourselves in the extremely hot water that was occasionally splashing out on us. We even have some burn marks after almost a week. Other than that everything was really great.

I can't think of anything. The restaurant staff was caring and had a good selection of food. The Manager was extremely understanding and one of the girls at the reception went out of her way to help me with confusing dates of booking. She made sure that I had room to stay and she made sure I was comfortable at the hotel. I think her name was Amelia. You will never feel alone at this hotel. They will help as best as they can. The hotel is very close to bare necessities, making it very special Victoria Square is barely 15 minutes on foot. You can't go wrong with this hotel. If you don't want to go out to eat in the evening, the restaurant staff will make it a pleasant dinner place to eat.

The room was really nice, clean and comfortable. We liked the breakfast buffet and all the reception staff was very friendly and helpful. Maria from the reception was above and beyond, she took great care of us from the moment we checked in till our check out.

A minor complaint about the gym facility. It could be a bit better equipped. Too many cardio machines and only one for weight lifting/resistance training.
