- Good location; if you come from the airport, just get off at the Maria Cristina metro station (the hostel is less than 1 km away), if you go to the airport, just go to the Zona Universitaria metro station (about 2 km away from the hostel) - There are power plugs on each bed (one for charger and one for USB cable) - Comfortable beds and mattresses - There is a good toilet inside the room (an important point, the shower is good) - Breakfast is good and varied - Professional and regular cleaning - Helpful staff

- The most negative and annoying point: the AC (although effective, it's quite noisy all night) - A lot of youth at the moment I went (mid-July), it felt like a summer camp school

There is a large lockable draw under the beds which was great for luggage. Shower was good if a little annoying, it has a push button so you have to push it in every minute or the water turns off. Included breakfast of cereal, fruit, bread and sliced meats was decent.

No curtain on individual beds for privacy and sleeping. We don't have 'youth' hostels in Australia, I didn't realise it meant there would be busloads of children staying at the hostel. Also no food or drinks allowed in the rooms seems excessive, makes sense if it's kids but at 31?

Inside the room was a toilet separate from the shower; quiet footlockers; individual power outlet; strong WiFi throughout; and large guest kitchen. The hostel is short walking distance from Numancia tram stop (and longish walking distance straight up from Sants Station). The inclusive breakfast is worthwhile despite the overcooked mini croissants :) I really liked the coffee machine which offered a selection of hot drinks. The hostel has ample lobby sitting and ground floor terrace.

The individual nightlight projects straight out from the wall and since the beds have no privacy curtains this "reading light" was the furthest thing from private. The room only had one chair and no coat hooks.

The hostel is not all that far from Sants Estació on the left hand side of Carrer de Numància before you get to the Avenida Diagonal. I initially walked past the entrance (it is down a slope) the check-in was relatively quick and here I got the sheets for the bed. The lifts were handy as was the ensuite. The computers were useful and free but don't think about gaming on them... The breakfast that was included in the price had an extensive range and as long as you were able to get up, was always enjoyed as were the occasional pigeons that joined us in the outside courtyard. The free storage luggage was appreciated again - it's very handy when you find a hostel that does that.

The attention and kindness from Vicente in the front desk was exceptional. he explained to us how to move within the city and that make such a great positive experience. The font desk staff was very friendly.

The breakfast is not really vegetarian friendly. When I tried to ask one day for more than 1 fruit since there were not vegetarian options. The lady from the cooking staff told me it was not possible. I felt a bit disappointed since it was the end of the breakfast, they had plenty of fruit and she refused in a very loud and rude way I could not get an extra banana. Really? That is cheap ! (One of the other ladies did want to give me the extra fruit but the same lady came and told her she could not) That is just rude. That was my only not positive experience of the hostel.

The locker under the bed is very smart, I especially liked that it closes with the same magnet key that is used for the door. It is good that the toilet is separate from the shower. It is very good that there are hangers in the shower for our towels (could be even more but this is already better than in most hostels). The bed is equipped with a socket and a small reading light.

The breakfast didn't include any vegetables. There could be a small shelf next to the bed for e.g. the phone.

Competent, friendly, helpful male Front Desk staff. Strong WiFi. Free luggage storage.

Rates not as low as they should be, considering how far it is from Centro AND the beachfront. Witnessed too many lazy guests forgoing bed linen and sleeping on the mattress in street clothes. Very inconsiderate --- trifling, too! Worst of all, this hostel is popular with rowdy student groups (it IS a suitable choice for groups but for the rest of us meanwhile...)

This hostel is unparalleled in quality. No words are appropriate. -The dormitories are segregated based on gender. -Every room is equipped with a private bathroom. -Enjoy a nutritious breakfast consisting of high-quality ingredients. -Neat and well-organized space. -The staff members are cordial, friendly, and courteous. -The gap between the beds is substantial. Unsurpassed in quality or excellence. Thank you for anthropomorphizing the human!

The reception staff were all helpful and friendly. Everything was clean and functioned well. The breakfast included was more than expected considering the low price paid. Also liked the location - it's a away from the town centre but better that way as I didn't want the hassle and street crimes so common in BCN.

The air-conditioning unit was switched on and made loud noise - couldn't work out how to turn it off.

Very comfortable beds.A great shower.. A decent continental breakfast included in the price. Very good value for money.. It's slightly out of the centre, but the Les Corts neighbourhood is nice and villagey, lots of good places to eat and shop...I would definitely stay there again.

There are 2 metros in walking distance, but not that close. Busses are nearby but a bit complicated to work out.
