Hotel Best 4 Barcelona

The hotel is located just at the end of the Barcelonetta next to a historical cemetery. It is a new age building with 6 floors and big windows which open fully and offer a beautiful view. The hotel is quite new I think but does need some updating here and there. We stayed on the 6th floor and really had a great time enjoying the view. The hotel is easy to reach by metro but is not in the most convenient location to move around the city. *The rooms have baths which was a pleasant surprise *We really liked the views at any time of the day *There is an all-use package in the room with all kinds of handy goodies like raizers, shower things, and stuff to fix your clothes it is one of the best-supplied rooms. *The hotel is close to a great small restaurant district which offers a big variety of excellent food. *There is a high-end functioning cleaning system and whatever you ask for they will oblige, definitely a high-class team.

The hotel in general needs a small upgrade related to some mini fix-ups. Like paint spots or floorboards that come a little loose. There is also some staining here and there that of course is not the fault of the hotel but could use an upgrade. We also had the feeling that the sheets and bed covers could have been cleaner. *There is no toilet brush which is just very weird and inconvenient. *The room does not really have drawers or a closet to put your close away which can be tricky if you stay longer than a few days.

The good location of the hotel

The wi-fi speed was terrible inside of the room. It`s better to say that no wi-fi in the rooms. The administration of the hotel need to do something with this!

The view from our room, the location which meant we had easy access to Barcelona from the metro which was down the road and we were also close to the beach for cooling down on the hotter days. We stayed on the top floor overlooking the beach and we got to see the most amazing sunrise each morning. We also had a free minibar with a selection of drinks as we chose the superior room. We didn't spend much time in the hotel as we were either spending time in Barcelona or at the beach. On arrival staff at reception were helpful giving us lots of information about the city. We ate down the road a few nights at a place called Green Room and then had ice cream/churros at Luigis (I highly recommend).

The price paid was very steep for the quality of the hotel and the services. I understand it’s the high tourist season, but the prize we paid was completely out of sync with the quality of the hotel

From a 4* hotel I would expect some water in the room and a mini bar, but the fridge was empty. There was a vending machine but not on my floor. The breakfast was almost good enough but not refilled quickly and the area with the juice was dirty (idea: put a dish below each jar to not make everything wet...)

Cosy and comfortable place to stay close to center and beach side. Good breakfast and very helpful hotel staff. Metro station is in 10 min walk. I really enjoyed my stay. Good value for money

Room audibility is very high. Anyone on the floor trying to close or open the room door was heard as like someone was trying to enter my room. It was pretty weird and scary feeling. Though i got used to it. Second thing to mention is that restoran facilities might be understaffed. At the breakfast there was only one person who tried to add food, to clean tables and to bring new clean dishes. The guy did really amazing job, still there was some lackage of food and clean dishes. Still these things are minor, i would return to that place again.

The location is excellent - just a few minutes away from the sea, a minute away from a beautiful Poblenou Cemetery. Also just a couple of minutes away from bigger streets full of restaurants, cafes and shops. The room was small yet meeting all the basic needs. The bathroom was very spacious and comfortable, loved that not only shampoo and shower gel was provided, but also body milk. The staff was very professional, helpful and friendly.

The wifi was a bit slow (but when asked, the staff provided a direct internet cable to use for a laptop). Air conditioning was working, though it seemed that even at maximum level it wasn't ventilating the small room enough for two people at night, so the window had to be opened.

it was helpful in the beginning cause we were going to go to a concert and it was close. Also they let us do the check in before time and we appreciate that, and when we were leaving they let us leave our luggage so we could enjoy the day and leave at night.

it’s perfect location and the rooms were nice.

the breakfast experience, the food was cold - lack of food available when I arrived. my breakfast experience was noisy with construction/workers which destroyed the atmosphere.
