Hotel Esplugues

The hotel was very nice and clean. The room was really comfortable with all the necessary equipment available. The staff available on 24h can provide useful information how to reach Barcelona center or the airport. The WI-FI connection was also very good.

In general I found the hotel quite expensive considering that it is a 2 stars and it is 40 minutes from the center of Barcelona and the breakfast was not included in the price. I would not pay a room in September more than 50 Eur/night. In any case it seems that most of the prices raised after the pandemic.

The room first gave to me was not ready, but it was midnight so they arranged a single room for me for the first night and make me back to a double bed room. But both rooms are good, and the staff will tidy the room everyday.

I expected a double room for the entire stay and I asked if i can tidy the single room when I am back at night, the staff said i have to clear them by 12nn but apparently the location are quite far away from most attractions and I wont come back again only to move the luggages. They sort of forced me to clear me before I go which I don’t want to

The young lady at the reception was very kind and helpful. She helped us to get to the parking lot reserved for customers at a good price. The room was very comfortable and the coffee was excellent. The lady at the cafe was very nice too. The hotel is located in a quiet and very convenient area. Public transportation at 5 minutes takes you to Barcelona within 30 minutes. Perfect to visit la Sagrada Familia, Casa Battló, Casa Milá, La Rambla, Park Guiëll and other attractions. I will go back next time I stay in Barcelona.

We arrived day later because of strike at Köln airport. Hotel rearranged our not refundable stay and refunded. Thanks for that! Even price for this clean and comfy rooms in Barcelona is really good. Breakfast offer is very practical. Liked it. Cleanliness satisfied.

Location is not good one. Far from trains. But still OK. Staff didn't speak well English generally and one main receptionist lady was rude sometimes.

The hotel was nice, clean (room was cleaned daily, the beds were arranged daily, towels changed daily), quiet neighborhood. The staff of the hotel was very friendly. Easy transportation to Barcelona center.

The walls of the room were very thin, the noise from the shower from another room woke us up in the early morning (6-7 a.m.). There was no many options for breakfast (a slice of bread or a croissant with coffee or/and juice), it would be nice mini fridge in room or a common fridge in dining area if you want to bring food with you for breakfast,as the options are very limited, but there still are some cafe bars with bocadillas(sandwiches) and tapas in the zone (Cafe del Gall is the closest, and the best one in the area).

The staff were very nice and professional, the room was clean and the AC worked , if you need tooth brush and paste then they can supply those amenities for you the curtains for the main window covered the window and stopped the sunlight in the morning breakfast was cheap and fulfilling and the vending machine was fair as well

there was a separate window in the main room which didn’t have a curtain so in summer the sunlight might come in to stop you from sleeping in the morning

It seems like a great little hotel, just away from actual downtown Barcelona. I read one of the reviews that said that a person was stolen some cash, but the room had a safe and nothing like that happened to me.

Just know that it's far away. I do wish they could add some extra to the breakfast that would be nice :) .

well the room was spacious and clean. i appreciated the drapes and the air conditioner. the bathroom is also comfortable, we felt at home there and the staff was really friendly.

we were surprised it was not in barcelona, to be honest. it s a small city nearby and this was out only issue. but the good thing was we saw castelldefels from there.

Very pleasant staff at this hotel. Simple breakfast available for a few euros. 10 minute walk to tram for access to the city. Secure underground parking 30 metres from the hotel entrance available for a daily charge.

The room was small but ok for a few nights. The location although pleasant enough, was some way from the city centre. But then I knew this when booking.

The recent renovation of the rooms and reception is really nice, the staff and the service is always excellent, the receptionist is always giving the right answer and with a smile, it is a nice and easy hotel that I recommend. Close to the tramway which connects with city center and airport easily.

The price in June was somewhat on the high side, this city is becoming expensive as a whole. It is time to discover other cities and places in Europe where prices are cheaper.
