Hesperia Fira Suites

The apartment was as advertised, spacious enough to work for 2 people. The bed was comfortable. Quite far from the city center (~45 min by subway) but the subway station is less than 5 minutes walk and the line brings you to the main city attractions almost with no need to change the line. The complementary breakfast is not a real breakfast, but there is an all day long access to the coffee machine which is appreciable. The apartment guests have access (for a fee) to the next-door 5* hotel facilities like gym and spa which is a big plus. The access to and from the airport is very fast (15-30 min, depending on the hour) and easy by bus, at any time day/night. There is a small tavern right next to the apartment building which is worth a visit. Good food for good value.

The price is quite high seeing the distance from the city center but I guess it's a classic for Barcelona.

- The room was spacious and comfortable - The staff was very nice and helpful, they cleaned our room earlier than mentioned in the initial message received from the property, and they asked us several times if we need anything - Close to the metro station, as well as the bus to the airport Overall a very good experience, and good value for the money.

Just two very small inconveniences: the lights in the bathroom - if you usually apply makeup, you’ll struggle with this 😅; second, there was a weird smell near the entrance/reception area, maybe it is not properly ventilated. Anyway, there was no such smell in the room, so it was fine.

check in was at the Hyatt regency next door. This was not evident at first, but once we were directed there it was great., I had work at the University opposite so location was great. To get to town the metro was in the hospital/University Barcelona grounds -easy to reach, buit was quiet a trip to get to final destinations, atleast 20 minutes to central town areas and 40 minutes to beach areas. being self catering, other facilities were minimal, but the coffee and croissant lay out at breakfast time was a great touch

my only real gripe was that there was no shower gel in canister when we checked in and it took 2 days before we were given bar soaps. Also be careful of room 103. it overlooks a noisy bar area. activities however do stop at a reasonable hour, and I was always too tired to care.

Check-in was good, quick and without problems. Checkout was also good. Complimentary snack in the morning + coffee/juice. Modern suite with high quality bathroom, decent kitchen, a double bed and double couch.

Cards stopped working during the night and I had to wait in the cold to figure it out, before going to the reception desk. The next morning my friend returned from breakfast and his card also did not work so he had to wake me up to get in. Booking specifies breakfast is until 10.30 when it is actually at 10. Very disappointed to miss it.

Price-quality relationship, silent location, spacious flat

Air conditioning was not powerful enough to keep a cool temperature in the flat when the outside temperature was more than +28+30 degrees Celsius.

The small apartments hotel belongs to the 5* Hesperia hotel. The room air conditioner is quiet, the bed is very comfy, bathroom top, everything was exceeding my expectations. The metro station in front of Barcelona University is only 200m away and gives you fast and easy access to all you wish to see in this beautiful city. There is no really need to pay expensive hotels in city center.

The speed of WiFi internet is terrible...I felt sometimes as 20 years ago. Other than this, there is nothing to negative comment.

Very nice cozy hotel with small kitchen (which was very nice to have the oportunity to cook even when staying in the hotel). Reception available when needed, small morning snack and coffee in the lobby included in the price. The room was clean, big enough (2rooms + bathroom) and it was quiet there. Very close to Metro and bus stations. Great bus connectin to the airport.

We could use the swimmingpool of the Hesperia tower hotel but it cost 12 EUR per person

Very good conditions for a family of 4, two rooms, plenty of space, confortabile, free snaks and coffee în the lobby în the morning. Very clean and very good housekeeping. The staff was very carefull, arrangeing even the kids toys. Best i've ever seen. All at a very good price compared to other locations

The doors were a bit noisy, could hear all the doors from the other rooms closing. The location îs close to the airport but only by bus, which îs not that good. There is a meteo line close, serving L1 line, but to the city. It tooks us 20-30 minutes to reach nearly every city center locations and another 10-20 to reach the beach. All relative to the traffic

Very clean, walking distance to the metro and bus stop. Coffe machine available 24 hrs at the lobby with no cost. Easy access to the major tourist attractions. I was very pleased with everything. I will definitely recommend it.

Just could have a replacement of the small breakfast area a few times during the period, but it was very convenient and thoughtful.
