Sercotel Porta Barcelona

Breakfast was more than enough. They changed the bedsheets every day. Free toiletries were cute, good quality toothbrush and toothpaste. The soap, bath gel and body milk were amazing, the smell's amazing, gentle for skin. Toilet paper was good, not too thin. There were even hygiene bags next to the toilet for woman's hygiene product disposal. The bed was so soft and the cover was warm so you can rest comfortably after a long day of walking. Convenience shop is near and so is the bus station to center of the city. It's amazing that you can see the city quite well from public transportation. Hola Barcelona pass for few days is ideal when staying in this hotel since it's located right on the edge of Zone 1 in Sant Just Desvern.

Great staff Clean rooms Safe area Good shower Fitness room Close to an all Spanish Plaza with food, coffee, drinks. Access to town by bus 157 to Colblanc, then metro where you want to go. Get a travel card from local Tabac store (ask staff). From Colblanc you can also access Aeroporte line. Out of main town but great value for money and access is fine by publuc transport (and part of the travel adventure!)

Bit out of town but that's also a bonus re budget and close to local life.

No good food offer around, A/C not cooling enough.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was a decent size. The room was kept very clean and the staff were nice to deal with.

It was a bit far out (but we already knew this when booking) - not really a problem though as it is a decent price and the hotel is well connected by public transport. Our air conditioning was leaking and kept us awake on our last night, it seemed like it had been an issue before as you could see the ceiling was damaged.

EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT, I DIDN'T EXPECT THE HOTEL TO BE SO GOOD FOR THE PRICE I PAID. THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN, IT HAS EVERYTHING I NEEDED, THE LOCATION IS VERY QUITE, THE STAFF WAS VERY, VERY KIND, THE BREAKFAST SURPRISED ME WITH SUCH A VARIETY OF FOOD AND DRINKS!! I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ALL MY FRIENDS!!

THERE IS NOTHING THAT I DIDN'T LIKE. JUST THAT MY STAY AT THE HOTEL WAS VERY SHORT AS I HAD ONLY ONE NIGHT THERE, BUT I BELIEVE SOON I AM GOING TO REPEAT IT.

We liked everything about this hotel. The staff at the reception is very friendly, the rooms are bright and large enough, the bathroom is clean, large and contains all cosmetic accessories. It is cleaned every day, and the beds are incredibly comfortable, which is important after a full day of walking around Barcelona. The hotel is located outside the city center but has an excellent connection with the city. Breakfast is good and varied. The hotel also has a beautiful terrace to enjoy your first-morning coffee. There is also parking in front of the hotel for those arriving by car. Good wi fi connection. We really enjoyed and definitely recommend Hotel Sercotel Porta.

Staff were SUPER helpful & rooms were excellent i.e. cleanliness and comfort Breakfast was better than many I have experienced with LOTS OF CHOICE and organised well. Again reception staff were EXCELLENT (2 ladies sorry dont recall the names )

My fault didnt see until booked and on my way that there is no evening meals offered Saturday & Sunday & Holidays. A few places I tried close were either closed i.e. Sunday or opened much later than I needed However I did order a pizza from Telepizza and it was delivered and was one of the best pizzas I have had for some time Again my fault for not picking up on the information which was there. A little far out for me - OK daytime if you have bought a ticket No 63 bus into Barcelona. but taxis are 30-35 euros.

Conveniently located just outside the low emissions zone of Barcelona (ZBE), you can drive to this hotel without worrying about getting fined. There are enough free parking spaces on the streets around the hotel, which is a quiet and safe area. Easy public transports to Barcelona nearby the hotel : Bus and Tramway. The night bus runs all night long and also stops nearby the hotel. The hotel is quite comfortable

No coffee & tea / water boiler on the room, unless you pay an additional fee. The noise from other rooms and doors being slammed quite strongly since before 7am. The second day I requested to change rooms because I could ear my neighbour snoring quite loudly. No snoring on the new room, but early in the morning I was awaken abruptly by doors slamming so harshly that even my bed was being shaken. This went on for quite a while. Remember to bring your earplugs

The room and bathroom were really spacious, clean and fully packed. Staff at the reception was extremely nice and helpful (ask for Hernani!).

At first when I turned the AC at the fullest it was a bit loud, it went back to normal when I lowered the intensity. Also to use the desk, you need to sit on the bed and it's not so comfortable. Other than that, it was really nice experience!

It is a little bit far away the city center. but you could easily take public transportation to the center zone. It is very quiet. The room size is also big enough for two persons. I think it is nice and comfortable to stay here for 3 nights. There are many stores nearby to buy water and bread.

we stay for 3 nights. But we did not get a new feet pad(Mattress) in the bathroom. I know it is good for our environment. I think the feet pad should be changed every day, we could reuse the other towel in the bathroom.
