Grand Hyatt Taipei

Grand Hyatt keeps to its exacting standards in properties, offerings, and services whether in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Taipei. The GH Taipei staff were very helpful. Excellent.

Too long to check in even at the World of Hyatt. The option to wait with a welcome drink would be nice (instead of having to stand in the queue after a long day and delayed flight).

The hotel is great. It is in a brilliant location next to Taipei 101 and a metro station and in a really lively spot when you walk out in the evening. The lobby is visually stunning! The rooms are a decent size and very comfortable to spend time in, and the bathroom is a decent size and well stocked. The facilities are great - we mainly used the gym, but the pool was lovely and the spa looked great if only we had had the time! Breakfast was great. The staff we encountered were all lovely. My husband requires gluten free food and the hotel had plenty available. Plus the bar (which was very nice) served corona beer which he can drink, so that made the end of the day a very pleasant experience too.

It is an enormous hotel so there were times when there were just a lot of people checking in and using the facilities. This meant that occasionally there were gaps in the breakfast offering. Never to the point where it was an issue though! Also, we stayed for a week and only had our sheets changed once, plus no evening turn down service. Not essential obviously but in a hotel of this class we were surprised by that. Finally, we like to swim and the pool was great, but more for a dip than a proper swim. Not a complaint - just an observation.

your breakfast is a bit under par as a european the eggs are pre cooked and cold i would suggest cooking eggs in the morning to order there is nothing worse than cold eggs and bacon in the morning

We love the buffet breakfast and the orderly arrangement for the access and eating time by the staff. But group cutting the line happened often. One day, we saw one lady right before us in the que for a long time. Her teenager son and daughter joined her, and then a whole other family of four, and finally her husband showed up right before the entrance counter.

The check-in process took easily more than 6 min per entry of one or two guests. The que built up on the sunday afternoon on 4 o'clock exceeding the queing space. The check-in facility, software, and process need a good look to improve by today's standard and Hyatt's quality.

I had a wonderful stay at your hotel with welcoming staff and a beautifully designed, well-maintained room. The highlight of my stay was the delicious food at the hotel's restaurant. I would like to give a special thanks to Ms. Elsa, the cafe manager, for her exceptional service during my stay at the hotel. Her attentive and friendly approach made my dining experience even more enjoyable, and I appreciate the effort she put into ensuring that everything was just right. Elsa's professionalism and dedication are a credit to the hotel, and I look forward to visiting again soon.

I had a wonderful stay at this place! The bed was comfortable and made my stay very enjoyable. In addition, the staff were helpful, polite, and friendly throughout my entire visit. They assisted me in getting a taxi and communicated with the driver to ensure I was headed to the right destination. Overall, I had pleasant experience and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

While the overall stay was decent, I have to say that the buffet breakfast left something to be desired. The quality of the food was just average, and the large number of people made it difficult to fully enjoy the experience. The long line in the omelette area was especially frustrating and should definitely be addressed. Despite these issues, the staff gave excellent service.

1)the room layout. very comfortable beds 2)the toilet. one of the best showers door design I have seen. The only problem- door to the bathroom has no lock. Don’t feel secure while using it. 3) well equipped fitness room and aerobics room. Good Pool. Only eye Sore - some ceiling boards in the aerobics room is stained and dirty looking when one looks up during the exercise. 4) good restaurant. especially the Cantonese restaurant.

We stayed near Taipei 101 and it was just across the street, the MRT was near Taipei 101 as well. There were many things to walk to from the hotel such as Taipei 101, Si-Si Nan Cun 44 South Village, the double Helix Eco Tower, malls and restaurants. Perfect location. The Citi Air Bus from Taoyuan Airport stops at the hotel. Easy and inexpensive travel from the airport to the hotel and back.

Above all, the kindness of the staff was very impressive. There is a passage directly connected to the 101 Tower, so you can enjoy shopping and meals conveniently.

My wife slipped on the stairs entering the building from the swimming pool. At that time, I didn't think it was a serious injury, but after returning home, I was treated at the hospital because my condition was severe. Anti-slip measures are essential for the stairs.

The property is well-maintained. The location is very convenient. All the staff are nice and friendly. They are very helpful and very professional. The breakfast is also nice with a good variety of dishes. Will definitely book again with them when I return to Taiwan. My family and I are happy that with Grand Hyatt.

I liked everything but perhaps they could consider adding bidets in the toilets as part of their future improvements.
