Amari Watergate Bangkok

Good location, clean and very comfortable room. Staff is friendly, greets you at lobby every morning. Breakfast spread is good but need to top up as it is not included. Thankfully staff are able to arrange the rooms to be closer despite no connecting room.

- Didn't manage to get connecting room despite indicating during booking months in advance. - Small hotel entrance from street, smokers like to gather around there. - Walking up the stairs outside Prego towards hotel. - Water provided taste a little weird, would be good to come 2 glass and 2 plastic.

Met Mr Palm during check in and out. He was exceptionally helpful and made the stay welcoming and pleasant for my husband and myself. He was always ready to assist with a great smile.

The items example like towels provided were not consistent. Once only provide 2 towels. Next day have 2 towels, 2 hand towels, 1 floor cloth and following days have 4 towels, 2 hand towels and 2 floor cloth. Lotion were given in different sizing. Last 2 days have floor cloth placed on the toilet floor and a vase of flower. Love that they uses real flowers. In room dining called to check on doneness of the beef. Told them well done but was provided with a medium rare beef. The package comes with a THB500 room credit which I think is a saver esp when you feel hungry at night. Comfy bed but the pillows are rather low for my personal liking. One of the day found a black stain at the side of the bedsheet. Bedroom slippers only 2 pairs during the whole stay and it fur after 2 days of wearing.

Breakfast was great, the variety of cuisine is ok. The location is amazing, just walking around for 5 minutes, there are shops, shopping malls and some food stalls as well. The skywalk makes it easy for walking.

The place, however, is a bit far from any metro/bts (the closest one is 900m away I believe), so you will likely need to take a cab. The room sizes vary a lot, my friend's room with the same kingbed grade (20th+ floor) has a lot more space than mine (14th floor).

1. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. They even assisted us plan our excursions. They were also available to provide more information about the area. 2. The hotel facilities are really good. 3. Hotel location is great. Very close to temples and shopping centres.

1. Limited TV channels and those available were in Thai (including subtitles ( Watched Formula 1 and some movies in Thai lol. An option to select language or subtitles should be made available. 2. I could hear the noise from the room next door. Not cool. Had to use noise cancelling earbuds to fall asleep. 3. The shower is very small. A big person or anyone who is claustrophobic wouldn't be able to use it. 4. I was given a room over looking demolished buildings and rusty roofs. This was an anti-climax.

the arrangement of the countdown new year eve. our reservation was not in the system. we spent 30 mins for the explanation and table arrangement. the info given for the party was incorrect also. we were told that the event is kid’s friendly, but it is not right.

They provided 5-star service, cleaned the room every day, and changed the towels daily, whatever you asked for, they always answer and assist you with a friendly smile. The rooms are amazing a lot of space and a beautiful view during the daytime and nighttime area and i Love the Greeting card makes you feel loved. thank you for everything you did and all the hard work you put into this hotel K.waan I highly recommend this best strategic very close to Groove at Central World and which is just opposite Platinum Fashion Mall and could save lots of travel time and cost The breakfast area was excellent and the food was delicious and had a wonderful dinner on my last day thanks to K.waan and ms first

Staff at reception are very friendly, professional and efficient. We were given a very high floor which I had requested and that was great. The hotel's location is excellent for our business purposes. The variety of breakfast items is impressive and you would probably have to be from the north pole not to find something that you like or something the Chef cannot happily supply.

It would be great to be able to get a better rate for returning customers but I understand that business is business. One thing I definitely didn't like was..............people (tourists) from a particular culture/race using their hands to take food from the servery to their plates and putting their dirty feet on chairs. I saw this many times from the same type (not just the same family). I also found that they were quite rude and abrupt to the waiters and staff. THANKFULLY this is NO FAULT of the hotel but I wish these incidents could be managed in a polite manner to teach these tourist's how not to behave.

Room was clean and bed comfortable. The staff overall were pleasant. The front desk was helpful and efficient except one who did not seem too keen to help and seemed very careless and even a bit rude.. Breakfast buffet was good with a lot of variety. The staff at the concierge where we book taxis were excellent. Very helpful and efficient. The service by staff at the ground floor cafe at the front was outstanding, very friendly and efficient too. Hotel location very good.

Would have liked more variety for room service. Shower area got flooded everytime we used the shower. Informed but never got fixed. Expected the room to be larger and better considering the price paid.

Spacious room and very prompt respobd on my feedback with regard to a faulty socket outlet. Mr Mark, the Asst Manager is diligent and efficient on my personal approach to a feedback on Amari's general maintenance. Appreciate his absolute prompt diligence and warm hospitality. Thank you Mr Mark ! Certainly be back again on 23/9 🫠 Overall all staffs at Front Office are welcoming and cheerful ... keep it up !

Perhaps Amari should recall 'Welcome Drink' again ... like that of Bali ... it's an impressive 'touch of service' in particular to regular visitors.

A very rich breakfast. Excellent service staff throughout the hotel. I would especially like to praise the reception staff PIM Big comfortable beds. A large and well-equipped fitness center. The hotel is very close to both airport link and BTS stations. Several large shopping centers are within walking distance.

The pool water was surprisingly cold and the jacuzzi part was not working. There are no teaspoons at the breakfast table and you have to ask for them separately every morning. However, there are soup spoons. I don't use a soup spoon when mixing sugar in my coffee or eating yogurt from a small cup. A completely incomprehensible place of savings on the part of the management.
