Pathumwan Princess Hotel - SHA Extra Plus Certified

We have always stayed at your Hotel. Reason being is that is connected to the MBK shopping mall, food and shopping what more would you want from, a care free mind. Security is top notch, and the staffs are always helpful. It's a pity that Covid has changed in terms of MBK mall, there use to be 2 massive levels dedicated to shopping, now it's compressed to level 3. But this has not changed much. We highly recommend this Hotel for anyone who is a first timer to Bangkok. The price is also very affordable. Thanks again Princess Pathumwan.

location is perfect, 2 exits directly to the mbk mall. staff were nice and very helpful. the lounge is nice too. we stayed at the suite and defiantly was a good value for the money.

breakfast is good but not exceptional. we had a better breakfasts in 5 star hotel in Thailand.

My first time to Bangkok and it was a fantastic hotel with comfortable and clean rooms with a good city view. Great location next to the MBK Mall and nearby BTS stations and very friendly staff. Definitely a must stay!

For the breakfast, the hotel must separate how they place the halal and non-halal food items. Halal chicken cannot be placed next to pork items. It's possible the customer may share the tongs between both food items.

Reception staff were nice. Rooms were extremely cleaned and tend to daily. Close proximity to shopping districts. Safe with security at every point of entry.

Loved that the hotel was connected to MBK. All the staff were lovely, my bed was super comfy.

The only thing I didn’t like was the staff at 4am telling the taxi driver not to use the meter just charge me 500baht

The Horizon Suite is well worth the extra $ - wonderful view, wonderful bed, wonderful tub, nice layout. Pool view rooms are far superior to the other side. Even though the "club lounge" food was terrible Miss Torfun was charming. The swimming pool and fitness club are exceptional, though the pool was not clean this time (think floating band-aid. Yuck)

Obviously the hotel has had to cut costs because of covid. The food quality was poor and because they are understaffed the response time was slow. The room lacked in personal touches this time (no room service menu, no welcome packet...) and, naturally, the whole hotel felt quite dead and abandonded at this time.

very noisy neighbors. we had to call receiption two days in a row. This is not what I expect in such a hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pathumwan Princess Hotel. The staff members were incredibly helpful throughout our visit, despite not being able to accommodate our request for a late checkout, which we understood due to the high season. The hotel's convenient connection to MBK Mall allowed us easy access to various shopping options, and the proximity to other malls within walking distance, coupled with the indoor walkways, made exploring other shopping destinations a breeze. Additionally, the availability of the metro nearby provided us with convenient transportation options to explore different areas of the city. We found the signage to be clear and helpful in navigating the metro system. Overall, our experience at Pathumwan Princess Hotel was delightful, thanks to the helpful staff, excellent location, and convenient amenities.

The location was very good connecting to the MBK shopping mall with plenty of of dining options available and lots of shopping,I don’t know why but buying suitcases seemed to be a very popular item for sale there were lots of people pushing them around 😀from level two there’s a walkway to the National train station.. I watched a mauy boxing display one night although this is not a regular occurrence, last but not least is food legends on level six an interesting sort of food court, the deal is you put an amount of baht on a credit type card go to any food vender chose what you want to eat pay with the card at the end of a day or two or three you cash out your card and receive whatever money is left on the card..

The breakfast was a buffet style breakfast I found the staff very friendly and helpful getting me a table,and that’s where it ended the hot western breakfast left a lot to be desired there didn’t appear to be much of a variety and I had five breakfasts, the omelette was cooked while you waited so that was hot fried eggs were at best lukewarm and it went downhill from there,who eats cold chips or wedges for breakfast and the bacon was not cooked it was cremated to a crisp and cold as well someone needs to talk to the cook’s about their cooking skills,very poor..

1. I like the staffs very courteous, polite and approachable specially in the morning I needed ice needed in our work as we sell juice so they provide every morning. 2. Foods in the restaurant are delicious for breakfast. 3. good vied of Bangkok since we are at the 27th floor 4. Nice staffs who accommodates and looks and negotiate for TAXI for transportation. 5. Nice and big gym though it closed at 10pm a bit early for me. 5. Nice renovated rooms very clean 6. Near the mall MBK with access to mall ground floor and 2nd floor

I don't see MUCH of Thai decoration or concept of the hotel. . I am expecting since the name of hotel is PRINCESS PATHUMWAN which sounds an authentic Thai hotel name. So I expect to see the hotel staffs dressed sometimes in Thai costumes and including the room if possible with a touch of THAILAND.
