Mandarin Hotel Managed by Centre Point

MH is super clean, bright lightings n nice location.

Taxi services. Haven't met a reliable n honest driver, most of them were always trying to scam you n we got the taxis thru the Mandarin hotel staffs, hence there's no doubt the hotel staffs were working hands in hands with the taxi drivers. I'd commented about this times after times but there's no action taken, so I switch to MRT n BTS. By the way, this taxi problem is Nation wide, Bangkok, Changmai etc.

I truly like MH n been staying here every times me n wife. This current stay, I noticed quite a number of staffs turnover n I felt good as this signified changes n improvements.

It didn't much like the taxi/drivers that had been serving MH, they are the kind that can give negative image to the hotel. I did brought up this to MH and I've also solved this problem myself by booking outside transport services.

The hotel had a big luxurious lobby and staff at the front desk spoke good English and were able to accommodate our requests. The place was within walking distance of Sam Yan Mitrtown and the San Yan MRT station. The room was made up every day, guests had complimentary access to what's in the mini bar, and the breakfast included with the booking was convenient for those who had to head out early. The location is quiet and well-lighted, with traffic lights to help pedestrians cross the street.

There were two flights of stairs that one had to climb/alight to get to the main lobby, which might be troublesome for those travelling with senior members of the family. The hotel is a few stations away from the main shopping district), tourist attractions and night markets which means you have a bit of commuting to do. If you don't mind walking, this place gives you good value for your money.

We liked the helpfulness and hospitality of the staff and the housekeeping is really awesome. We stayed for 7 days and our rooms were cleaned thoroughly daily. They still changed the towels and sheets even though we've placed the signs that there's no need to. Water, coffee, tea, complimentary drinks, toiletries were replenished daily as well. The concierge were very attentive as well they always help when they see people carrying lots of stuff from outside. We loved the location because it was near an MRT station and a little mall with many of restaurants. We will definitely book at Mandarin again on our next trip to Bangkok.

My family and I like the hotel as it was very grand 👌 the location was good being in the centre the staff was very friendly front desk and specially the room attendees the women who's name I didn't get unfortunately was very helpful made sure I was stocked up on my eminities and my room was always made up. Breakfast was good too.

The grandeur of the hotel did not reflect the room. The rooms were very clinicle and felt like I was in dentistry or hospital accommodation, and the breakfast was good but should have catered for the muslims as well as the non Muslims we we're limited to what we could eat every morning.

Breakfast is good and has plenty of choices but not much difference for my four days' stay. The free wifi in the room is poor, very slow. I have to use my mobile phone card to provide a hotspot for my ipad. The location is good, the MRT is just opposite to the hotel, just 2 minutes's walk. The premier room provides free water and 2 soft drinks everyday.

The wifi speed should be improved. Also, Booking.com promised to provide a free car transport from airport to the hotel but I waited for one hour without seeing any proposed driver and I had to take a taxi myself.

Every aspect with the hotel was exceptional. Hotel was really clean, room was a pleasure to get back to after a day of sightseeing or shopping. View from room was worth paying, although keep in mind we got the view after free upgrade by the hotel to executive room, since premier paid upgrade offered by booking.com was essentially 'no view'. For sure we will book executive room next time, since it is definitely worth it. Staff was, again, exceptional. We have her to thank for the wonderful stay in this hotel, especially for the room. She surprised us pleasantly when we got back from our dinner cruise to find a pair of towel Swans and flowers on the bed. Just because of my husband's joke that we were on honeymoon. What a wonderful way to wrap up a wonderful day! Location is just opposite of MitrTown shopping center and MRT Line. Elephant Hop-On tour bus stopped outside for 1 minute to pick up or drop off. Even in after office hour traffic, it took only about half an hour to reach IconSiam for our ChaoPhraya dinner cruise.

very welcoming and helpful staff (at the reception, swimming pool and massage centre in particular), excellent breakfast (selection of variety of dishes, Asian as well as "European", fresh fruit and vegetable, perfect egg and soup fresh options, etc.), nicely equipped rooms (I appreciate especially the kettle), nice swimming pool, perfect massage centre (unfortunately, I tried it only once), good room service (including daily supplies of water, coke, etc.), delicious jasmine tea available in the lobby :) = thank you! :)

I stayed in this property back in March 2014 and it was just as good as the first time. Everything around it has changed but property is still well maintained. Breakfast was absolutely next level MBK is 20 minutes walking distance Massive shopping center right across the road with restaurants and shops Love the toilet
