The Phoenix Hotel Bangkok - Suvarnabhumi Airport

We have both stayed there a few times now.Close to the airport,it is indeed very good for aircraft spotting. The staff are absolutely superb and will go out of their way to help. Assistance with my i Pad and bringing beer up to our room always with a smile,The cleaning staff too were also superb,delivering daily fresh water,towels and coffee. This hotel is ideal for a one night airport stay or longer.

I must admit there was nothing I did not like.

I am used to book at this hotel every time I fly to/from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport because it is convenient in case of late arrival or early departure. The room meet my expectations and there is a convenient shuttle service from/to the airport.

Before the Covid19 period of 3 years, the hotel offered free transportation from/to the airport. Now the service is charged but it's a minor drawback. Also, before Covid, the hotel had a restaurant where you can have dinner and breakfast, that was convenient considering the hotel's remote location with nothing around. Unfortunately, the service is not yet reopened. I was said that it should reopen by the end of year 2023 that will be a good move.

Very close to the Airport, so expect some noise as people arrive all night and leave early for flights as we also did. No lift, but no problem as staff helped with luggage. Was very clean and beds were comfortable. Airport transfers supplied from the hotel were very cheap and less than 10 minutes drive. Plenty of resturaunts and street food available within 100 meters from the hotel and 7/11 is very close. Will definitely be staying again the night before flying back to Australia. Recommended

A bit noisy late at night and early in the mornings, but this is expected with people coming and going at all hours

Shuttle service from the hotel to the airport can be easily arranged and very affordable. We had ours set for 1 AM and they were able to accommodate us since it is available around the clock (with advance notice preferably during check-in). The balcony was a nice and unexpected feature of our room.

We arrived while they were cleaning the other rooms and laundry bags were just indiscreetly placed outside the rooms along the hallway. The property has this weird incomplete/under-construction feeling to it.

The hotel was in a neighborhood that is few minutes away from Suvarnabhumi Airport. Pretty okay for an overnight stay or if you want to avoid traffic for an early flight. The hotel and room was clean and the staff were very polite.

No laundry area nearby. Not much restaurants/cafe nearby. There is one 7/11 nearby though.

Close to Lat Krabang train station as well as to the airport. Spacious room, comfy bed, hairdryer, toiletries provided. We used hotel’s shuttle to the airport at 5am in the morning. Attentive staff.

Well, the airplanes can be loud but we have to have it in mind as it’s close to the airport, and we stayed there because of that. 😁 No elevator - this is the real and only downside. No food options around, just a couple of authentic vendors.

Good location, quite a few good restaurants around. Great price as for airport hotel :) Really nice personnel.

I'd appreciate if the hotel could improve communication with guests. Prior to arrival I asked twice about shuttle options but never got any response. Finally I had took a taxi for 240 B.

Close to airport, room has everything what you need to stay before flight. Good breakfast, they packed the breakfast for takeaway as we had an early flight (thank you for that). Around the corner is also nice massage place.

It’s very closed to the airport, very convenient! We got to the airport around 23:00, but it was very smooth to get to the hotel. The bed was comfy. One thing that made us uncomfortable was, the taxi service from the hotel (on the way to the hotel), the driver didn't support our big suitcases. (on the way to the airport, the different driver supported us.) I have booked there already for our next trip!!!

Excellent for taking shuttle for the airport for the morning flight. Clean with everything you need for one night. Not for long stay. Shuttle was on time at 5 am.

Not easy to find a restaurant around, better to bring your own food for the evening. Quite dark at night.
