The Residence on Thonglor by UHG

Quiet, family mart conveniently just below the residence. Walking distance to many nearby cafe like the commons.

Location is not near any BTS. A good 20 over mins walk from the BTS Thonglor. shuttle service is available from 11am to 7pm but 1 way only to BTS.

Located on a very busy street with anything and everything you need close by. Breakfast was limited in options but tasty and open from 6:30 to 11:00. Easy and smooth access to the rooms with elevator directly from the street level.

Our balcony door didn’t shut properly which made noise from the street ojtside quite loud. The hotel says it’s smokefree and threatens with heavy fines if the room smells but still puts ashtrays on the balcony. Seems kind of contradicting.

Comfy bed, will clean room daily and the maid is friendly with lovely smile. It has a small pool with nice view. Thonglor BTS is 40 mins by foot . But taxi around 70 bath to the station. 7/11 and Tops mini market just down stairs and a lots of restaurants,bar and messages along the street. I booked 4 nights and extended 4 more nights as still a good value hotel Will come back again.

The desk can be wider as not enough for work even with a laptop

Got a free upgrade to studo deluxe which is quite a spacious room. Similar to service apartment with a small kitchen, washing machine and a small living room area. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is quite good too. Near restaurants, family mart is just below and 7-11 across the street.

I don't fancy the bathroom as it seems to flood easily after showering. The location of the hotel is not near BTS station.

Gym is great, location is great, wifi works well enough, room had a desk and all the basics that I needed.

I think for the price a lot of little details were off that all added up to lessen the experience a bit: there's no umbrellas at the pool so can't really be up there during the day, the elevator takes you on a wild ride all over the building on the way to your floor, marks on the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, lots of the fixtures are crooked, signs encourage you to take the stairs yet the door to the rooftop is locked so you need to take the elevator, emergency flashlight in room doesn't work, tv is blurry and doesn't have netflix, no hand soap in the bathroom

Super clean, very helpful staff, and great rooftop pool and gym.

A little far from the main areas, especially the subway or skyline trains (30 min walk).

The apartment was spacious and included a microwave oven, washing machine, full-sized fridge and a separate shower and bathtub. There was a lot of space to store your things in case you are staying long term and charging points next to the bed. They also provided dishwashing liquid and you can also request for a clothes drying rack if you need. There is a convenience store right downstairs should you need any late night snacks or last minute toiletries.

There was no dryer function for the washing machine and the hot water in the shower took a while to regulate. You will need to pay a THB1000 deposit upon checking in but this will be refunded on checkout if there are no damages to the room.

The new owner is doing a good job of making the hotel a nice play to stay: the staff is excellent, facilities and rooms are clean, and the breakfast is enjoyable. The rooftop pool is certainly a plus. The location is within a 5 minute walk to a canal boat pier from where it´s easy to get downtown to Asoke or Pratunam.

There are just 5 pool loungers and the area around the pool is a bit small. However, there´s room for improvement and work seems to be in progress. It´s officially a non-smoking hotel but there are a bit smelly smoking areas at the entrance and outside the breakfast area.
