The Siam Heritage Hotel

Room was large good shower and had bath with kitchenette and sitting area so plenty of space to relax. Only a 5 minute walk to skytrain so conveniently positioned to access Icon siam and/or MBK (both in different directions) as it was only one night we were predominantly shopping before heading home. Close to night market also. It had a really nice roof top garden with pool as we like it to feel a bit more like Thai traditional rather than a brand new hotel room like you could stay in back in your own country it suit us. Able to mind our luggage until we headed off to airport. Staff lovely.

Excellent location. BTS Sky train and MRT were all within walking distance, so more options for transport, apart from taxi and tuk-tuk Check in was fast. They even gave me 2 key cards, so I can leave one in the room to keep the air con on as the weather is hot. Room was very comfortable. The restaurant at the lobby has some nice food within affordable range if you are not into street food. Staff are all wonderful and pleasant.

how can i describe this hotel, first of all i would not call it a hotel, and a refuge from life, routine, it is warm, welcoming and relaxing. In Bangkok, as in the rest of the world, hotels are all the same, from 2 to 5 stars, anonymous, more or less comfortable or more or less clean. This place is something else, it has its own soul, it goes further, in a big chaotic city like Bangkok it's the perfect place if you want to relax after a hot day of shopping, it's like feeling at home, its Thai/Hindu old fashion style makes this place magical, attention to detail, from the typical Thai dark wood furniture, to the objects you find in the room, the lights are not too strong. This hotel has a story to tell, the story of what Thailand is all about, from the paintings on the walls in the corridors, the statues outside the elevators, the roof terrace with pools surrounded by greenery representing Thai forests, and there's even a small altar that reflects what Thai culture is. the building is an old building, the floors in the corridors I think are originals from the past, very well maintained like the walls, the real Heritages. In Bangkok you can find anything, but if you are looking for a modern luxury hotel, this is not it, this is beyond luxury. I had been here my first time in Thailand in 2015, I have come to Bangkok other times and stayed in other more or less good hotels, I remember my first time, I had loved it right away, but I didn't remember where it was. Two weeks ago I was staying in another hotel, and I wanted to go to the night markets along Sukhumvit, because I remembered that it was nearby, and here I found it walking, I entered the porch and I said "it's him". I spent the last week in Pattaya, but I had to go back to Bangkok to go to the airport, I hadn't booked my last night in Bangkok yet, so under the porch of Siam Heritage I made my reservation for my last night.

Just to many massage shops next door which hides a bit this place, but it's Bangkok, modern and Heritages mixed together

Though not the cheapest option in town, Siam Heritage is a fine old hotel. The in house restaurant was reasonable for the area and it was close to the Patpong morning market for a cheap tasty breakfast. Sala Daeng BTS is not far and Patpong provides an interesting, if AO rated night time excursion. Management was a charm, spoke good English and was helpful. Allowed me to store luggage there without a problem.Bed was comfy and quiet.

Only real issue was the tuktuk and taxi touts and the massage girls every time you exit the place but that is part and parcel with staying in that part of town. Window faced out to another wall only a few metres away and the aircon was a dusty mess.

This hotel is just at the core of the interesting area, and just 5 mins walk to both blue line and green line MRT stations. It features roof top pool & bar and & pavilion & SPA for guest to get rejuvernised in one of the busiest districts in the bustling Bangkok. The room is very spacious, and the wooden furniture are very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious, the hotel has spotless housekeeping, and attentive 24 hrs reception. Internet is very fast and steady. There are many busy SPA, money changer, drug store, self-Landry shop around and there is one very big food court features Thai Cuisines just +/-150 m away.

The Lobby is bit too dark. Your nap could be disturbed in the afternoon due to careless guests slapping the door, however night time always quiet.

Staff very friendly room was always clean owner or boss was very helpful and worked on a good price for long term stayed here 3 times and 6 weeks. Near Patpong Night Market coffee shops and food.

Many rats on the street and bugs, many $$$ boys and people asking for sex, not comfortable around these environment.

The hotel is a 4 star and i personally would give the 10 stars. Quiet, clean, confortable, price is incredible, very low cost for such a beautifol hotel. Swimming pool, hot tub, a small but good gimnacio, a person comes to clean everyday, the room was all wooden, bathroom very confortable, staff the treatment was very kind and available. the location, right in the center...higly reccomend this place, hope to return soon

Beautifully decorated, really different. Room size was great. Nice pool and gym and also a spa. Location was ideal and you can park your bike in the entrance way. Super cheap restaurant just next to the hotel.

Our room had the beautiful view of a wall of another building. But that was to be expected I suppose given it's location - they did put hanging pots and plants to make it look prettier.

Staff remembered my request for smoking . Brought me the ash tray. very happy with the service.

Counter staff was not friendly. I had to stand for few mins before he noticed my arrival. I had to wait for him to finish his work before he could help me with my check in . not very happy about it. It seems like the guest arrival wasn't his main priory. It wasn't like this before, i was attended quickly and my luggage was even brought up to my room . This time , i wasn't even attended to like before.

The room was comfortable, clean and looked lovely. The service was friendly and timely. The included breakfast and the restaurant food was all delicious. Theres also a lovely rooftop pool, spa and gym, and the rooftop is beautiful and lush with many plants and other decorations. The location is right in the middle of the very charming old town area, with many restaurants, bars and shops in walking distance, as well as being near the river giving easy access to the great palace, temples, floating market etc. We didn't stay long but can't wait to come back for more.
