Silom Serene A Boutique Hotel - SHA Extra Plus

This hotel is great! The location is excellent: close to Patpong and Lumpini Park, and close to BTS and MRT, so getting around is easy. Staff are lovely and very helpful. The hotel feels quite old fashioned and it hasn’t changed a lot since my last visit 12 years ago, but I think this is a positive thing. The hotel is spotlessly clean and breakfast is good.

Maybe better lighting in the bedroom - a central ceiling light instead of 4 separate lamps, but that really is very minor!

This hotel is a fantastic gem in one of Bangkok's most interesting areas. This is my third stay there. Now I was on the top floor - 8, room 802 for 5 nights, and again everything was excellently maintained and comfortable. My previous stays made no difference. I even recommend the top floor because it is quite calm comfortable and much further from the street. I am very satisfied with the entire service and with the staff who take care of everything and are extremely helpful and efficient. In my opinion this is one of the best hotels in the city and that's why I chose it for third time and it did not disappoint me. The experience was excellent - calm and felt like home. A great convenience is a location in a central place, but the building is at quiet place, which allows for a full-fledged rest. Near to all famous things around .Five minutes walking to BTS Sky train . There are two stops which are a few minutes walking - Sala Daeng and Chong Nonsi. Also, a few minutes away is the Silom complex, where there is everything you can find in a department store, also branded boutiques, and last but not least, there are cafes, many restaurants and a pleasant atmosphere, and sometimes there is local food preparation on Ground floor. Ilom Serene is funcational , extremely clean and peaceful place where one can stay and be a tourist or just be lazy! I highly recommend this gem and I'm sure anyone would be happy with their stay. For sure I'll be back for a fourth time soon!

Friendly and helpful staff (they allowed me to use the fitness facility to take a shower before my flight, after having checked-out), quiet street

There is a floor where smoking is allowed, the smell gets to the hallways. It would be a good idea not to allow smoking in the hotel at all.

This is the hotel we always use when we are in Bangkok. The staff is friendly, the rooms comfortable and big. The location is perfect for us : the market is opposite the hotel, the sky train a 10 minute walk, 7/11 almost next door. The hotel has a lovely pool, and is a nice quiet spot. Step outside the door and you are right in the middle of busy Silom.

Very nice hotel, each time we are in Bangkok we stay there. Nice, friendly and helpful staff, spacious rooms, very nice swimming pool. And the location of the hotel is great - metro and sky train within few minutes walking. Around hotel big choice of street food and markets. Additionally all shops so whatever you need is nearby. Highly recommended.

Really efficient and friendly staff in aprime city centre location close to public transport. Comfortable rooms with swimming pool, cosy small garden, fitness centre, massage and sauna facilities - so really good value for money. The staff are the jewel in the crown here- really friendly, efficient and professional.

Way too expensive transfer from the airport. Hotel limousine costs 1500 THB while city Taxi costs 300-400 THB. For same car. The second thing is bad communication with the hotel: I wrote 7 emails asking for airport transfer and they answered only after intervention from Booking

This is a classic style hotel, therefor space, even in the smaller rooms, is no issue. The room fits even bigger luggage easily, there is a desk, some chairs, a minibar, water cooker, cups and glasses and a big fridge. Safety box and cupboard as well as sound system and tv. The staff is very welcoming, super friendly and makes sure you are at ease and comfortable during your stay. Breakfast is served till 10am and the staff will make sure that you get enough food before they have to close. The location right in the heart of Si Lom is just perfect to explore downtown Bangkok.

Good central location and staff very helpful regarding getting taxis to the train station. Many taxi drivers don't like going to the train station on the other side of the river as it's difficult for them to get a return fare.

Breakfast is ok but fairly minimal

This was our second stay at Serene Silom having booked for four nights in January we decided to re-book for three nights in February and the hotel kindly provided us with an en-suite room upgrade.
