Divalux Resort & Spa Bangkok, Suvarnabhumi Airport-Free Shuttle

The pool was amazing with lots of sun loungers . The staff were extremely friendly . The bathroom was spacious and well equipped . The dining areas were immaculate and had a good selection . The room was clean and felt light and airy . There was a little shop if you didn't want to pay bar prices .

The first transfer bus was at 06.00 which we thought would be fine , as our flight was at 08.25 and the airport was only 2.8km away . The transfer took 40 minutes , which immediately put us on the back foot for the chaos that is Bangkok airport ! We did make the flight , but it was not a leisurely experience . I would have preferred a 05.00 transfer .

The room was nice and comfortable, the bed was very comfy, and I had a good sleep after a long flight. I liked that air-conditioning was not facing me directly on the bed but was a bit away. Surrounded by greenery and away from traffic noise. The staff was friendly and generally, my experience was great.

There is no transfer to the airport available if you need to get there beforoe 8am, fair enough.. so the hotel arranged a taxi. However, the taxi driver charged double price 300b (I went the previous day by taxi from the airport and paid based on meter 130b, while also spending time in the traffic) and said that it is because it was ordered through the hotel. That left a bit bitter aftertaste and I would expect to be communicated beforehand by staff. The location is away from other restaurants, and shops, so if you are planning to stay longer, transportation is needed unless you want to eat always in hotel restaurant, which was also good.

The grounds, pool, room was fantastic!! Great vaule for money! Read lots of reviews prior about Divalux even made sure I had snacks with me since lots of people said that there was limited options, found they have a little convenient type store in reception. Free shuttle to the airport, took about 15 mins to get there.

The actual checkin part was fast, however they said I had to wait for the bell boy to take me to my room after 30 mins I walked back up to reception to see if he was coming or if I could walk there they told me to wait and they would follow up, but they didn't do anything I ended up waiting over an hour to go to my room. The restaurant I went to on the grounds was awful. After paying for a 2 course meal untouched I went to my room and ordered room service, cheese pizza and fries, disappointing again, I only ate the fries were eatable. how a cheese pizza can be so bad I'm not sure lol. Shower would go from burning hot to cold but was still manageable

I booked because it was relatively close to the airport, compared to the centre, as I only need a 1 night stay before a flight. However, it is in a very strange location. The food was expensive for Bangkok, but there was no other choice, as there was nothing around.

Great pool area. Room comfy and clean. Good room service and massages. Restaurant was great and the grounds were well kept. Staff were very friendly.

Nice property with wonderful staffs, the hotel will need cosmetic upgrades.

Lack of staffs to up keeping the beautiful landscapes. General painting on the building exteriors. My room was beautiful, clean and comfortable for one night stay. I booked 1 hour massage with the hotel spa and it was great!

Menu at Chada restaurant could do with some more variety, whether that would be Asian or Western cuisine, it currently is a bit too limited.

the hotel is close to the airport for an early flight but didn’t feel like it was an airport hotel. The free shuttle bus was an incentive. We stayed the first night we arrived in Bangkok as we were flying out the next day.

the restaurant wasn’t very good and the food was hit and miss. Not a lot around. if it’s your first time in Bangkok I would recommend going into the city and getting up early to get to the airport.

It was a great place to stay as a rest stop before a long flight home. The pool was fantastic, relaxing, and not as busy as expected, considering the size of the resort. It was close to BKK and had round the clock airport shuttle. It caters to people arriving for bus tours who arrive at all hours but the soundproofing was good so that was not a problem. Staff were very attentive and responsive.

We had kind of hoped to hit one last local market but there were none within easy walking distance. There are 2 onsite restaurants with a breakfast buffet in one and dinner buffet in the other. Both were pricey (in comparison to local restaurants) and neither was outstanding but had plenty of choices..
