Metropolitan Hotels Bosphorus

It is a pleasant hotel near the Galata Port, with lot of restaurants arround. It was clean, and comfortable. They have a very good restaurant on rooftop, with a great view, good food, good music and shisha. The room was the same as in pictures, modern and spatious.

When we arrived we had to wait a lot because the room was not ready yet. The hotel is close to the road and it was a little noisy. What we didn’t like is that they forgot to provide water in the room, we had to call service room daily, also once after cleaning they didn’t leave any towel so we had to ask at the reception, we had to buy toilet paper and shower gel /shampoo etc. because they didn’t provide them since we arrived. The included breakfast in our opinion was poor.

1. Hotel provided paid airport transfer. 2. Reception was friendly and accommodating 3. Breakfast provided was superb. 4. Rooms are fairly clean 5. Water for shower was good in pressure and hot water was ok. WC was in good working condition. 6. Room service was good. Whatever we asked for it was delivered. 7. Location of the hotel was convenient to trams and walking distance of the metro. Convenience store was also nearby.

1. Used towels was not replenish accordingly. Almost everyday need to call reception to ask for towels. 2. Coffee mugs was not replaced with new ones and had to ask for it. 3. Rooms was not swept clean as felt it was dusty 4. Almost everyday at midnight there is a power trip. Was staying at level 3 of the hotel. 5. Kettle was not provided but instead they issue hot flask if requested for hot water for making hot drinks.

Additionally, the F1 to Taksim is only a 5-minute walk away, providing convenient access to the famous istiklal street. For those seeking to visit Galata Port, you'll be pleased to know that it's a 3-minute walk from the hotel. From the moment you step through the doors, their genuine smiles and attentive nature make you feel right at home. Whether you need assistance with recommendations, travel arrangements, or any other request, the staff is always ready to go the extra mile to ensure your comfort and satisfaction. No gym, swimming pool...

The hotel is very modern, with a great breakfast and room view. Exceptional staff, especially Aykut and Berat that were always polite, friendly and helpful.

- Reception staff need extensive training in how to make a smile on their faces, even if it is fake. - Lights in the room especially around the toilet mirror, it is a real challenge to shave.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Metropolitan Hotels Bosphorus during my first visit to Turkey, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked into the hotel, I was greeted by the most welcoming and kind staff. I particularly want to thank Aykut, a staff member working at the reception desk, for going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable. He even offered me his personal metro card to help me navigate the city's public transportation system, which was incredibly thoughtful and helpful. The staff at the breakfast area were also very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast spread was delicious and diverse, with plenty of options to suit all tastes. The hotel itself is stunning, The location is perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to major tourist attractions and public transportation. Overall, I highly recommend the Metropolitan Hotels Bosphorus to anyone visiting Turkey. The exceptional service provided by Aykut and the rest of the staff truly made my stay unforgettable. Great location near Galata port. Other major touristic attractions within reach directly with the tram. Cleanliness & customer service were good. Breakfast offered plenty of food & large range of options. You don’t need to be a guest to enjoy the breakfast. Overall good quality food with great view over the Bosphorus. Valet parking available. Room layout was slightly unusual. Incomplete wall separating toilet/shower from room, storage space and fridge incorporated in this wall & facing toilet. Large portions of the front wall were panoramic glas. Room size Prayer mat and Quran available.

Some issues with cleanliness, more specifically cups and plates weren't cleaned properly. Bed mattress not as comfortable as I'd expect. toilet and shower separate, senk outside Moderately overpriced

Everything! The staff are very friendly The room was nice and clean The breakfast was nice (it's a small selection but it ticked all our boxes of things we like such as an omlet station, grilled halloumi, baked tomato slices covered with pesto and cheese, fresh simit and pastries...)

We really would've loved if they kept a floor of the rooftop restaurant open for people who don't like loud music and that kind of ambiance. We saw so many people leave as soon as they look at the place so they're really losing customers especially modest/conservative Arabs
