Extremely helpful and gentle staff - they helped me with all kind of issues, always ready to reply, speaking good English and somebody - Russian. + I had a free upgrade of my room (i initially had 2 separate reservations and stayed in the same room thanks to this free upgrade). The hotel is beautiful, situated in a calm neighbourhood, there is a hamam which is superclose to the hotel - Cukurcuma - really recommended to have an experience of turkish hamam. Very comfortable bed, bottles of water provided in the room every day. Breakfast which can be included when you want. Possibility to have a room service until 23.00 Lotion, shampoo, conditioner and gel of good quality and with a nice smell.

The sound isolation is not great - i had to sleep with earplugs. The window in my room was to the breakfast area - i would like to have black curtains, because the light coming from there was disturbing. It would be great to have coffee of a better quality for breakfast.

Amazing service - the concierge went above and beyond for us. Considering we’d been travelling a lot prior to our stay in Istanbul, we made use of their laundry service which was very easy and convenient to arrange. We also had the concierge arrange a tour guide for us, and had an amazing time with our Tour Guide Yashar. The location also was absolutely perfect. We were going to stay by the Hagia Sophia but we’re very glad some friends recommended this area instead. Lots of great (cheap) restaurants and bars around, and beautiful streets with lots of charm and character. Getting into town was also quite easy as the train was at the bottom of the street and took 4 minutes to cross the bridge. Would highly recommend staying here!

A nice city hotel aside from noisy Istiklal. The room was really nice and quiet with a small balcony, a big cosy bed, a stylish bathroom. For breakfast you get standard Turkish breakfast + you can order hot dish of your choice (omlette, waffles, pancakes) and you can also take juices, jams, apples, variations of coffee and tea. It's not very rich, but quite enough. It's easy for taxi to stop near the entrance.

I would recommend the hotel to mend some stuff like door handles, faucets. Also the biggest thing that I didn't like - air conditioner right above the bed, so it's not comfortable to lie on the bed and cool the room at the same time. And one more thing - I'm not sure that it's wheel-chair friendly as there are a lot of high stairs.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel: super kind and nice staff, cozy rooms, tasty breakfast. The location is super cool for walks around this part of city. Near the hotel there are lots of restaurants and cafes and shops and local boutiques. We plan to repeat our journey and we will definitely choose Soul hotel for our stay. Thank you!

Not the fault of the hotel, bau we had some problems with catching the taxi near the hotel. Because of traffic on the narrow streets in this quarter taxi drivers several times cancelled our trip in Uber. It is easier to catch the car on the bigger street.

I stumbled across this hotel on a last minute trip to Istanbul. The level of customer service i received from lala and the team was amazing. They went out their way to help with covid tests and airport transfers making it a very enjoyable trip. The location was perfect and the I could not fault the facilities. If I visit Istanbul again I would definitely stay nowhere else.

Bathroom and beds cleaned nice. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Lights were turning off and on all the time. Electricity needs to be fixed. Floors are not cleaned.

The staff was really sweet! They even allowed us to check in later than the required time and kept our luggage for the entire day since our flight was late in the night. They ALSO gave us a present, a souvenir. Super nice of them! It's on a very good location, just 2 min walk from the Isteklal street with some very cute cafes on the surrounding streets. Wifi was great and the room had all the facilities we needed.

Bed was slightly uncomfortable for us, very very soft. And the room we got was super small. We were expecting a slightly bigger room.

The hotel is really nice! especially loved the location, style & design, nice staff. Very comfy & cozy rooms. Breakfast is huge and very tasty.

Note that some rooms might be noisy (facing the street and because of rooms above). Ask the reception to pick a room on top floor and preferably facing the yard (vs street)

The Soul Hotel is in one of the nicest areas in Istanbul, with beautiful flower filled streets, with lovely coffee shops and stores. An easy 10 min walk to get onto the tram which takes you across the bridge to The Grand Bazaar and the Hagia Sophia and in the other direction another 10 min walk to get to the famous Istiklal street. The rooms are lovely with lots of light and are sound proof to guarantee a good nights sleep. The staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and that all your needs are met. The breakfast is really good with a wide variety and a big selection.

The Soul Hotel is in the heart of Istanbul (10 minutes walking to Taxim and close to the main walking street of Istiklal (5 minutes). The neighborhood is called Cukurcuma where there are a bunch of cool bars/restaurants and antique shops. The hotel is clean, the rooms are wonderful and the staff were extremely kind and helpful!

The layout of the hotel is a little confusing. We got lost a few times trying to find our room. There are also stairs - so not easy if you have mobility challenges. But for the able bodied- it's no problem!
