Renaissance Istanbul Polat Bosphorus Hotel

The staff are lovely and very welcoming. The location is in the center and it was eat to reach most locations easily. it has the best view of the Bosphorus from the deluxe room. The bar at the last floor it has the most spectacular view and music is nice. We asked for a portable bed and they didn’t charge us, it was a nice gesture.

As per a 5 stars hotel, the breakfast is very basic and standard they should add more varieties and more international dishes. They should focus more on the lobby area as there was no kind of welcoming guest or waiters to offer you drinks. You have to go to the bar and ask. The portable bed is not too comfortable, a bit old.

The hotel is situated in a very convenient and easily accessible location. Although I would have highly appreciated it if I was accommodated on a higher floor, the room was good. The staff were professional and helpful and were following all anti-covid recommendations strictly. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and I enjoyed a beautiful view of the Bosphorus. Besides, I enjoyed a delicious dinner at the rooftop restaurant and bar with a fabulous view of the Bosphorus.

Although the breakfast was delicious, it lacked variety for breakfast at a five-star hotel. I would recommend you to improve it. For example, you could add smoked salmon and more meat options. Also, I would have appreciated it if I was accommodated on a higher floor, as stated in the note for preferences before making the booking.

While booking I chose breakfast included option but it didn't happen ! I am not sure maybe I made a mistake (because sometimes I make this kind of mistake ). I the process of solving my breakfast problem, behavior of the young guy (who was the first responsible of breakfast) could be more politely. But the behavior of shift supervisor was professional and I forgot about the behavior of previous guy. Final solution of my breakfast problem should be solved by Mr. Mert (the guy who checked me in). He was extremely professional and I was very satisfied by his attention to the matter. I think he is very overqualified for standing in reception.

Everything was in a balance with the price

Good location, with access to a bus stop only 1 minutes walk away, near a nearby convenience store, The roof top restaurant not only provided a lovely menu but the breath taking roof top view from the restaurant added to the comfortable ambience of the restaurant,all basic amenities were supplied in the rooms to make guests stay pleasant and comfortable, very spacious hotel, staff was exceptionally polite,friendly and courteous and went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. Prompt cleaning was provided everyday, definitely a home away from home, the khavalti breakfast was outstanding with so much variety to suit everyone, would highly recommend your hotel to anyone looking for the perfect stay in Istanbul.

Comfortable, good location, close to Bosphorus and all it main sightseeings

Having been a regular client, I noticed a downgrade in quality and services. Pool was closed, but no mention about it when booking. I asked to get 2 rooms with king size beds, not possible but requested in the booking. Air conditioning in room 1407 not working properly. Front desk not as helpful as before.

The view from the room was awesome. The breakfast was delicious, the bed was super comfortable.

A piece of the room furniture was broken and this is not acceptable for a room costing almost 200€/night. The housekeeper entered the room while I was having a shower (obviously naked) at half past 10 telling me it was check out day, but checkout time is up to 12 and that is not acceptable either.

Our stay at this hotel was lovely and very pleasant. The rooftop bar/restaurant have a fantastic view and great live music programme. Also the rooms and beds are comfy with amazing views over Istanbul. We had quite a few extra requests regarding food and room and the staff always took care of it in their best efforts. The pillow menue was a fun surprise. Special thanks for Emre to accommodate us in the best room and arrange the room changes per our request. Also Hasan and the other team at the lobby were polite and helpful. The hotel is away from the shopping streets but taxis are easy to find, also the hotel staff helps to arrange any transfer needed. Enjoyed our stay and would come back

we are super picky about food and although everything was fresh and well prepared, it was not to our taste. this I believe is personal preference. the restaurant staff promptly reacted to our comments and did their best efforts to provide the best service

Nice location, sufficiently specious room with nice and convenient workstation.

Bed was very soft, not suitable for people having back problem. They did not have any other hard bed to offer. but yes, they could partially solve the problem by removing quilted bed cover. Ideally, they should have hard bed available in their stores. I have seen this option in other properties. Staff was very helpful in solving the problem and making me comfortable. Yes! I know some people like to have such soft and cozy beds.
