The Marmara Sisli

The location is super , Where everything is  available (restaurants, bars, metro station , metrobus and shopping mall ), Very  close to Taksim Square . The room  was clean .  staff is  very friendly and professional. Specially Mr Okan in front desk .He upgraded my room free of charge. Management sent fruits to my room . House keeping is very good and clean my room every day . Two times asked for drinks at  bar They gave it to me as complimentary.. Wifi is available and internet is good Thanks for Your hospitality....

A/C  is old version, not possible to set temperature. There wasn't  closed wardrobe, Hand wash basin postion beside minibar in front of room door not inside bathroom .. NO towel holder inside the bathtub.. All TV channels only in Turkish language without  English  subtitle.

Ramazan, a member of the reception staff, provided outstanding service. He was pleasant, respectful and most helpful. Ramazan quickly volunteered to help with our luggage and to get taxi for us. His knowledge of English was of great help, as few people spoke English.

This is not the first time I have stayed in the Marmara. I had a wonderful experience with them in 2021. we forgot our passports of my husband and I, and also $800. After three days, we received the passports and the amount without any shortage. That is why this year I recommended the Marmara to my friend and we went back together to spend our vacation in it as well. also the customer service is very kind, especially Ramzan.♥️ I love you the Marmara

The only thing I don't like is the size of the double bed is small

the hotel is good and nearby the mall and every thing is near to you ( mall, metro, bus, restaurants, shopping)

the hotel reception they took from me 100$ cash deposit while check in and when I make checkout they didn’t return it back to me although I didn’t use anything from their facilities and they say we didn’t received any money from you so I was upset.

The staff was super helpful Insan at the front desk Ramazan - aide - super friendly with a smile and helpful Anil - aide - super helpful getting advise and getting directions The gentleman Veli Kaplangil in charge of breakfast went out of his way to make us happy Close to metro Close to shopping mall

wish the hotel was closer to the Bosphorus. Wish they had a swimming pool. The carpet on the 9th floor looked tired. Sometimes I could hear noises from the room next store to us. You are forcing me to write more to finish this section.

Decoration is lovely. Rooms are very classily decorated. Especially for the budget range of hotel.

Some parts of the walls are painted breeze block which is a shame. I think they could make a huge improvement by forking out for plasterers Also, some of the staff were not good. They weren’t always welcoming. Some were wonderful but some seemed stressed, were very quiet, didn’t look you in the eye. It was obvious everyone was working very hard but the room service woman wouldn’t even look me in the eye when she came to my room. Also even the non smoking rooms do stink of fags. But that’s smoking countries. Can’t blame the hotel. Overall I loved it and will definitely stay again in the future

The staff were really helpful, the hotel was so clean, they followed the social distance, the location was great and the breakfast was awesome. They have awesome deserts ! Totally recommend trying some there specially the konafa & the chocolate parfais

They usually close the centeral AC on their own. I ordered room service, the appetizers & deserts were really great but the main dish was so bad and tasteless, when i mentioned that to the reception though they didnt charge it. Overall it was a great experience

In the first room, carpet wasn’t clean (I found hair) and also weird design for bathroom and shower

I like the location is close to everything, you can feel the city , you walk outside and feel the heart of istanbul , the room was so clean and staff so helpful and polite !

I would like a bit bigger room , more soundproof, neighbors had so much fight at 4 am and it felt like everything is happening in your room , and also a adjustable air conditioning i couldn’t find the automatic airconditioner shutting down so when the room gets. my desire temperature it will automatically shutdown there was none and i got cold and fever unfortunately. But totally everything was great and these problems are minor
