The central location is great for getting to Edinburgh Old Town,Castle etc. I walked to South St.David's St. In 20inutes easily to get the airport bus. Note: the fare is £4.50 to Edinburgh Airport ,they DON'T give change and they DON'T take credit cards,so have the exact fare ready. I didn't and had to "donate" an extra £5.50 as I only had a £10 note. It's next door to an excellent bar ? Brewdog? That serves great pizza. There is live entertainment next door.( but that can be a problem....read on...)

On Saturday night the music and singing from the band, fantastic as it was, continued to 2am and I couldn't get to sleep..I would book this hotel again but NOT on a Saturday night.

The room was surprisingly spacious and had all the facilities/amenities you'd expect. In fact, for coffee and tea, there was a kettle and several jars full of coffee and tea bags rather than just 2 sticks. Bluetooth in the room to connect to music. Bathroom big and clean with a rainfall shower. Located super close to Grassmarket and Royal Mile. Breakfast is a bit expensive, despite a few hot choices. There's the Three Sisters Pub on the ground floor/behind the hotel.

On the weekend, it can get loud at night as there's a pub that does have live music sometimes. The hotel provides ear plugs in the room, though.

This hotel is just a five minute walk from the Royal Mile. It's a great location to explore the city center. The rooms were a decent size, the beds were comfortable, and everything was very clean. The hotel has an interesting vibe. When you walk in, it kind of feels like a hostel, but there were people of all ages, families, etc. Overall it was a good spot to explore the city for a couple days.

The only downside is the noise depending on your room. There is a bar next door that stays open until 3-4 am and it can be quite loud. The hotel provided ear plugs in the rooms which was nice, but if you're looking for a quiet stay this may not be it. Parking is also not available onsite. The parking garage is about a 15 minute walk away and costs 25 GBP per day with the hotel discount code. Not necessarily a dealbreaker as onsite parking in the city center can be very hard to find, but be aware.

Very good toilettries unlike generic cheap stuffs that hotel used to provide. They use Gordon Castle, I ended up using the provided toilettries, which is very rare. Spacious bathroom and comfortable room. Giant tv screen. Free lounge at the lobby, and there is bar downstairs with big screen for sporting match. Just realised at the end of our stay that free playstastion playing at the lounge with huge screen and projector. I would think this is the best value for money during my various stays all over UK. Typically the stays in UK involves old room with minimal facilities and not so friendly service. This hotel is bright funky but comfortable (the room is not bright, so plus point). Will stay here again if I come back to Edinburgh at some point.

the double bed is a joined twin bed, but this is expected in many European locations so not really an issue for me, esp. for the price it offered.

This hotel was wonderfully located in the center of town. We were within easy walking distance of Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. Although located in a busy part of town, our room was tucked away and very quiet, with comfortable beds, a roomy bathroom, and all the basic amenities we needed. The layout and furnishings of the room maximized the space. The decor throughout was wonderfully modern and eclectic. Couldn't have been happier!

Our GPS had trouble getting us to Stay Central, but that wasn't the fault of the hotel. Just be aware that you need to take the stairs down to the lower part of the city and you'll be fine.

Very clean room in excellent location. Very welcoming lobby and good provisions for tea and coffee in the room. Everything in the bathroom was good and up to scratch. Really good and helpful staff.

Other people have mentioned the noise - my main issue was that while it said in advance how tiny the room would be, it was just poorly furnished, which made it smaller. The furniture was good quality but plain too big for the room. Honestly this is a good hotel overall, but it has some drawbacks and definitely went for style over comfort.

Great room, spacious, with all the amenities. Brilliantly situated for central Edinburgh and highly recommended if you are there for a night out like I was and are either out until the clubs shut, are able to sleep through loud music or, like me, are happy to have a cup of tea and watch the big telly whilst you wait for the music to stop.

Probably not the place for you if you want to go to bed before the clubs shut and the music turns off (at least at the weekend, likely would be better mid-week!). Wasn't an issue for me as was out most of it and was happy to sit with a cup of tea for half an hour once I got back to the room but was staying a Saturday night and was very noisy until just before 3am.

Hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed at in many years, only one downside was the wifi signal wasn’t the best. Other than that it was top tier, location was perfect for the heart of edinburgh and everything we needed, the room was large, the bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on, built in surround sound speakers to play music anywhere in the room, waterfall shower was amazing, room was spotless, huge TV with Sky and even a sega classics game console and coffee machine in the room. The best part was the noise cancelling, couldn’t hear a peep from outside our door. 10/10 fully recommend.

Nothing at all, only slight struggles with the wifi speed and connection which wasn’t major.

The interior of the hotel was edgy, aesthetic and very colorful. The staff was quite friendly too! When we just checked in there were cookies and water offered to us. However the internet connection in the room was horrible actually nonexistent. Not only was their Internet bad but our own connection would not work either. The continental breakfast was very nice too, there was a range of pastries, cereal, juices and cheese/deli meat. You could pay extra to get hot menu as well ie eggs . I’d like to mention that the location is absolutely superb literally walking distance from anywhere you really want to get to in Edinburgh ! Overall, the experience was amazing except the Internet connection 😅

the room was excellent clean and tidy and a nice touch with the sofa in the corner the Venue was great with the bars attached and a show every night

the price is ridiculous !!! we booked months and months ago and it still cost us £590 for 3 nights which frankly is outrageous for Edinburgh no way was that room worth nearly £200 a night it’s stuck down a dirty disgusting road with an absolute mountain to climb out of up to city level , which isn’t mentioned in the description the staff that booked us in were excellent two young lads and very attentive but the rest of the week of the week the female staff just didn’t seem interested at all and even when we checked out on the Monday, we didn’t even get asked if we had enjoyed our stay or a goodbye. She just took our keycard and went back to chatting to a another member of staff and drinking coffee all in all a disappointment really because the Venue “three sisters” was amazing
