Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport

location was great right next to the airport and likeing planes as i do it was great for spotting planes .bed was big and comfertable free parking but wish i had known about parking for holiday as they are a couple of pounds cheaper

wasnt a lot of food choice and they closed the kitchen early due to a bus party arriving. breakfast not included in price as was a lot more than other hotels within reach of the airport (although not able to have breakfast as flight was early in the morning so cant fault them on that) cant open window and AC not cold enough

Immaculately clean room, friendly staff, good restaurant and mini shop stocks everything you could need. Nice floor to ceiling windows in the room. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the en-suite shower room. Extra large bed, comfy pillows. Mini fridge and large flat screen TV. Lots of ambient lighting and reading lamps. Good location for the airport or just for exploring Inverness or surrounding area, very quiet and I couldn’t hear any external noise considering it’s right at the airport. I particularly liked that you could decline housekeeping to be ‘Greener’ and you would get a free drink.

Although the bedroom has air conditioning and heating that can be controlled in each room, I usually prefer the room temperature to be cooler for sleeping but found that the duvet was too thin and not cosy. I woke up feeling cold, Iv found the same issue at other Marriott hotels, the duvets are very thin which is fine if you turn the temperature up but my preference would be a cooler room and warmer duvet. Some of the curtain hooks had fallen out so I fixed them. Couldn’t connect my phone to the TV and YouTube wouldn’t work - if I had been really bothered I’m sure reception would have helped.

Great hotel right outside the terminal. I arrived and departed by train which was about a 15 minute gentle walk via a brand new path from Inverness Airport station. Hotel is very shiny and staff are very friendly and accommodating - I swapped from a king size to a twin room with no issue and no extra charge. Breakfast was really good quality and plenty of stock.

Price was not explained very well upon check-in as the card authorisation was higher than the room cost, was clarified in the morning the room was the correct price. Also there is a counter selling snacks and drinks at reception but it is quite expensive.

The way they treated me as I am 93%disability mainly on mobility side, the room was 3 times normal size of standard room and as soon as u entered the building and made contact with receptionist, she finished what she was doing and came to my aid, assisted me to my room, provided me with Drinks, menu and food arrived with 12 minutes 5 star, much appreciated to all staff, same applied at breakfast, I was seated and immediately waited on. Don't hesitate to book, before your travels, will start your holidays or business trip the best way.

A nice, basic hotel next to Inverness airport, very convenient for those early morning flights. This was my second stay here. Comfortable bed, spacious room with sofa, floor-to-ceiling windows, mini-fridge, blackout curtains--all added to the comfort! Good to know about public transportation: bus stop is at airport across the street, and new train station is a 10-15 min walk away on footpath.

Overall my room was clean but the carpet had not been thoroughly vacuumed (food bits on the floor); more QC needed in that area.

The breakfast was good...plenty of choice...more than enough food to start the day.

The heat control in my room had a life of its own. I couldn't change the setting. Someone had set it to 28 degrees and I wasn't able to change it. I kept setting it to 20 degrees but within a few minutes it had returned to its 28 degrees setting....very frustrating. Also I found the sofa set in the room to be very uncomfortable...ok for a few minutes, but not for any longer period. It was too hard, or perhaps the cushions were not thick/deep enough. Everything else was fine. The bed was very comfortable. The shower controls and the TV remote were simple to use. I often think you need a degree in engineering and electronics to work these items, but they were simple and straightforward. An enjoyable stay...thank you.

Excellent choice of breakfast items, cooked, continental, fresh fruit, coffee juices etc. We also had a lovely cooked meal in the evening. Good sized portions of well cooked and very tasty food. Room was extremely comfortable, bed was large, comfortable and spotless with beautifully plump pillows.Check out for 12 mid day allowed for a relaxed morning without rushing about. Would definitely recommend and we would certainly return of the chance arose.

The tea/milk /coffee hadn't been refilled in the room, but as I take my own milk and teabag anyway, it wasn't really a problem, but was certainly a miss by housekeeping.

This hotel was amazing, particularly the staff. I cannot say enough about how great the staff were, the 2 managers who checked us in were lovely with the lady giving my grandson a box of chocolates! Both of them were super helpful during our one night stay, as were the staff in the restaurant. The food was delicious with a very good varied menu, I would highly recommend eating here. Location right next to the terminal building is perfect and the hotel itself is very nice and equipped to a high standard. Inverness airport has been needing a hotel like this on site for a long time and I’ll be using it regularly.

ALL THE STAFF - from reception, to the bar to the cleaners to the breakfast shift - literally every single member of staff was exceptionally friendly, professional and helpful. The bed was so comfortable I thought about missing my flight just to stay in it for longer. The generous check out time of 12pm did not help with my needing to be up and out at 5am. The closeness to Inverness airport. 3min walk via a footpath (round the edge of the car rental). I have to say again how much I was blown away by the staff. I’m torn about this review because I’m sure I won’t be able to find a room when I next pass through!

We clean modern hotel, restaurant could do with a menu that has more variety and different cuisine.

A little disappointed with the staff, was charged for 2 breakfasts every day when there was only me staying and the explanation I was given was because I booked through the hotels website where in fact I booked through booking.com which doesn't give you the option of selecting breakfast, especially when I turned up for breakfast the first day and my name wasn't even on the list.........bit odd, no real apology but bill was rectified immediately when I pointed out their error. Apart from that this hotel is an absolutely fantastic place to stay, very clean and modern the staff are very warm & friendly apart from the minor hiccup. 10/10
