The staff were brilliant, I was well looked after by Jess who helped me check in, helped me with my parking and the next day also helped me out with a few things! Very friendly staff! Got a call prior to the stay regarding parking so that I was prepared for my stay as the normal parking wasn't available due to a market. Location is really good and great access to Tatton Park. If you are into sports it is a great location to watch the games in a less hectic environment. Food was lovely, the chef recommended me the smoke burger and was really nice! Top notch, would stay again if in the area.

Firstly the wonderful vegetarian breakfast and attention to detail..We felt really well looked after. The bed was so comfy, and the room had every gadget and convenience you could want, including a coffee maker, a Dyson fan and a digital radio. And the people were just lovely. I would thoroughly recommend the Cross Keys

The carpet was a bit fluffy in the corners of the room, but that is such a minor niggle. Also a green safety light stayed on all night on the room. It wasnt too bright, but was a bit wierd to sleep with it on. On the whole, our stay was fantastic though.

gorgeous and spacious room, lovely decor and facilities, even had a Dyson fan. big spacious bathroom, comfortable and large bed. breakfast was spot on. as a full English should be. knocked the socks off one we had recently at a 5 star hotel in Buxton. The chap who was staffing breakfast was very chatty and Helpful

the only slight gripe we had was the initial receptionist who dealt with our check in. she was actually quite rude. we enquired about room service and she spoke to us like we were stupid for even asking the question. her reply was. “on a Saturday when we’re this busy? no not really” a simple unfortunately with us also being a public house it gets too busy on a Saturday to offer room service would have been suffice. then she mentioned that we would have to move our car from the car park as there was a makers market on the next day and if we hadn’t have booked last minute we would have know as she would have emailed us. she mentioned our last minute booking at least another 3 times implying that somehow we had inconvenienced her. very bizarre.

Central location with parking. Lovely welcome from the ozzy guy on reception. Got in early to a lovely big room ( room 2) had everything needed including a dyson fan coffee maker hairdryer and superking bed.

The hot water tap never worked water pressure poor . bfast was a bit slow despite only us there and the toast was hardly toasted and put on same plate as fry up. Needs side plates. The pub has half a dozen tvs so popular with sports fans so we chose to eat and drink in one of the other nice pubs.

Location was perfect ...Free Parking ...,Friendly welcome by staff, ...Room spacious ....Breakfast was excellent well cooked and quality ingredients ...

There was nothing we didnt like but would have possibly liked access to a fridge either in room or communal area ......it was hot weather so room was warm but we did have a Dyson fan to help ...Postcode for car park was confusing as the one we put in satnav sent us to a different one ...but it was all sorted when we checked in .

Location wonderful, Rooms of boutique decor and quality. Coffee machine and DAB radio most welcome surprise. Fabulous breakfast.

Mirror in bathroom too high (i'm 4'11") could only see top of my head. (Full length mirror in room though) Needed a Handle on well by bath to assist those a little ageing, as shower was in bath. Steps, steps,steps but this is an old coaching inn, be aware but part of the charm. Wasn't made aware of rooms in the courtyard as this would solve steps dilemma.

Nice clean modern room. Helpful staff. Kindly kept my rucksack safe when I went out for the day, after checking out.

Many winding stairs up to top floor. Small single attic room, in the eaves. Not much space or headroom to walk around the plastered angled beams, right at the end of the bed. Very warm day, so window was wide open, which had lots of noise from beer garden, directly out the back. Very overpriced for size of room & no breakfast included.. Unable to buy breakfast on Sunday morning, as they didn't start serving until 9.30 & I was going to a festival at Tatton Park which started at 9am.

Lovely pub hotel right in the centre of Knutsford, looks to be recently renovated. Comfortable room with additional sofa bed and spacious bathroom with shower over bath up on the top floor. Free car park off the main town street, quite a tight entrance and then access to guest entrance to hotel from carpark through a lovely beer garden. Downstairs in the pub is breakfast and meals served through to late evening.

Only slight issue was noise from outside on street due to the old traditional windows, and planes overhead I guess heading to from birmingham. There was earplugs though and every other convenience in room like radio/TV and fans to mask the sound for a comfortable night.

Very clean and comfortable. Staff very nice. The room opens onto a pub courtyard. It was very quiet, but it was a Tuesday night so I'm not sure what it would be like at the weekend. Just to note that some of the rooms are "outside".

Unfortunately the cooked breakfast did not start until 9.30am and I needed to be away by 8am. An earlier continental breakfast was available but, not for me (Gluten intolerant). However, there was no quibble about "refunding" the breakfast charge. A bit difficult to find the car park, but once I did it was all fine (the post code takes you to a lane at the back of a church hall - take the next turning on the left instead)/

everything to hand although a small single room. quiet. although in summer it might not be quiet as the beer garden is immediately outside the rooms the room had a digital radio and coffee pod machine as well as an upmarket fan so some thought has been put into accessorising the room. very good wall- mounted tv too. blackout curtains are a great addition as they keep out the all night lighting from the pub garden.

very difficult to find car park. it’s not on King street but is on Princess street the last little lane down on the left hand side the desk in the room could be bigger and there is room for a wider desk. with the coffee machine, kettle, lamp and coffee accessories on the desk there would be no room for a laptop if one wanted to work. skirting boards in bathroom need a good clean with a damp cloth!
