room was very big, only for 2 adults but could have been for 4,staff were very friendly after our room key didn't work, room was pretty much spotless, facilities were mostly very good with some minor exceptions (personal nitpicks)

room key rarely worked, most times we had to ask for the room to be opened or the key to be fixed (could be a personal fault though from my part, had been in my phone case all day), there was some small issues such as stains, bugs in the ceiling light, lots of damage that had been there before we got in the room, shower had a weird sort of bullet hole in the bottom next to the drain, sink water pressure was extremely high, couch has a very weird smell and had lots of noticeable stains on.

Good clean basic rooms enough for short stays reception very good nearby shops catering for every need M&S, WHSmiths, mcdonalds and costa. Parking was free of charge another bonus We stayed on 20th May 2023 for 1 night. The rooms were fresh white painted and little green touches here and there and green curtains. mirror dressing table and stool in the room the bathroom was nice and clean and lovely clean white towels. Also we paid a very good price.

When we arrived we were allocated 2 rooms near to each other as requested. On entering one of the rooms it stunk of stale tobacco it was very strong. As we are non smokers it was disgusting however they are no smoking rooms so do not know how this happend, my daughter went to reception and the room was changed no fuss. The beds were rock hard and so were the pillows good job we were only staying one night. We would stay again if the mattresses and pillows were changed.

I normally stop at knutsford travelodge every year on my travels south to see family couldnt get a booking so tried here instead. I have stopped here for service station but never to the hotel its clean comfortable very friendly and helpful staff and at a very low price so much so that i will definitely be returning here in my future travels.

Only 1 possible complaint in the bathroom it had an over bath shower door the actual door part was missing so by the end of my shower i stepped out into a puddle.

This hotel is basic - however for that purpose it fit the bill perfectly. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot, and the staff (Tracy was the only one on site I dealt with) was very friendly and helpful. The Ritz, it isn’t. The rooms are fairly spartan, but as a budget hotel it’s really very good. The room was spotlessly clean when I arrived, quiet and comfortable.

I honestly didn’t have any reason to complain about this hotel - it was a brief overnight stop for a business meeting; in the right place, at a good price.

The Turkish man over there who is the most kindness person I ever met in the hotels he is a truly truly one of the best 1 of the best kindest person ever met person ever met as a hotel worker thank you very much again and again

The service from the gentleman from the desk he was absolutely a very nice person gave 10 out of 10 We were very pleased me and my misses and we will definitely visit that place again thank you very much for everything you guys you done

Family of 2 adults and 2 kids (4 and 13 years old) liked location, we were travelling towards Lake District and Motel is located at the services were had McDonald's, WHSmiths, M&S food shop, coffee bar. Perfect one night stay, had kettle in the room, big table, tv, bath with shower. No cups and cutlery or tea, sugar and coffee. Would definitely recommend for shor drive though stay👌

Floors were not very clean in the room. Had no cups and instant hot drinks with sugar.

The staff when we arrived were pleasant and welcoming and when we asked about parking said it was included (which was a bonus). They sold basic things like water behind the bar and the room was clean and pretty much what you would expect for a cheap hotel to sleep the night.

The bed was very hard so not to everyone's tastes. We had a family room so the Sofa Bed in the room was 10 times better so if you have back problems maybe stick to that one 😉

Big double room with extra sofa space. Lots of storage to pop your items. Mostly clean. Basic but well furnished. Comfy firm bed! Oj, and also pretty damn quiet, even with the window open in the well insulated room. Free parking is validated and your card can be used in Costa for a small discount!

We missed having a plug point by the bed to charge our phones. The overall cleaning was good but the counter top and detailed cleaning bits like around the loo roll holder were missed so I had to give a little wipe. And the little in built tables to the headboard slope down. So I found my water bottle kept falling off until I found the sweet balancing spot. Despite these minor issues, would be more than happy to stay again. Only mentioning it as some of these things can be tweaked 😀

Large spacious room with good lights. Very large firm bed was comfortable. Was really quiet and peaceful all night given it's location on a truck stop. Very clean, bright and tidy. Near the car park.

Pillows too low for my liking. No tea & coffee in the room , have to go all the way to reception to bring them upstairs so we didn't bother. No shower gel or shampoo despite a good bath and shower being in the room. I guess that's why it's called budget but is a basic shower gel really that expensive to provide for guests?

Convenient location to break a trip. Decent size room...with all you need. Very helpful staff at the desk on arrival

Basic...but fine for an overnight. Hotel is at a truck stop so there is the regular droning of engines and smell of diesel fumes outside - but rooms are well sound-proofed
