Hotel Anfield

The room was nice and there was parking available, just not a lot. The bed and bed covers were nice and for a one night stay it was good. If we had booked more in advance, the price would have been better value but we were let down last minute by a BnB so tried to find the best in the area and it was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Easy check out.

Unfortunately a few things were broken in the room. The toilet roll holder wasn't stable and the fan worked but wasn't very stable and was stained at the base. None of this was an issue to us so we didn't report it, but in the spirit of an honest review, I thought I should mention it.

From the moment we arrived from Dublin, staff was welcoming and friendly. I didn't catch the lady's name when we first arrived but she let us check in early and was lovely. After our Anfield Stadium Tour we came back to the hotel, which is literally a minute walk up the street from the hotel, and ordered food. I only had cash, and nothing on my card so the next lady that was working (MIA) offered to order for me, and use her card to pay and I'd give her the cash. So friendly, chatty and helpful, thank you Mia. Hotel was spotless. Rooms had everything we needed from shower, hairdryer, iron, a TV with Netflix etc to watch movies at the end of the day, and even stuff to make tea or coffee with. The bar downstairs is beautiful, along with the outdoor area. Looking forward to coming back for a match day in Liverpool.

Everything was great, truthfully.

This is a nice, clean, small hotel near the Liverpool and Everton football grounds. Great value for the money. Easily walkable to either stadium. It is a converted Victorian building with 2 lounges, a small bar, and several sleeping rooms upstairs. The rooms have been remodeled. Although there is no sitting area in the sleeping rooms, the two lounges are open and quiet, and I took my laptop down there to do a little work. The bar is not open to the public, only to guests, so it is quiet. They have no restaurant, but they have a box breakfast available. A better option is to walk a short way to Georgie Porgie's cafe, across from Anfield Stadium. They have a great Full English for 8 pounds, with coffee or tea.

I didn't care much for the shower, but then, I didn't care much for any of the showers in England. Hard to operate, low water pressure, and not very hot.

We came to Liverpool because my husband is a huge Liverpool FC fan and it was our first time visiting. It's a 4 minute walk to the Anfield Stadium and the whole hotel embraces Liverpool FC, from decor to the match day viewing party. Team busses drive by the hotel going to the match. The hotel was super cozy and they even had a quick breakfast bite in the morning which we weren't expecting. Best of all was their staff. Everyone was so friendly and nice. We're sending everyone that comes to Liverpool to Hotel Anfield!

The location is fantastic, less than 5 minutes walk from Anfield Stadium. If you are a Liverpool fan, this is the place to be! The manager Bobby was great! We arrived late and Bobby made us feel like home and also practically fed the family by ordering takeout for us! Free beers included!! Great hospitality Rooms are large, linen well provided and we can see that great effort has been put to make visitors welcome and as comfortable as possible. There are even cappuccino provided in the pantry! Fantastic value for money!!

Everything works well but maybe a small improvement can be made to the toilets to match to all the other great stuff!

It was the perfect example of an English Inn to stay at. You truly feel like you are at home, not at a hotel. The facilities were clean, comfortable and quaint. The staff was exceptional. They will do anything to make sure your stay exceeds your expectations. They went above and beyond to ensure we were able to go to the match after a ticket issue. The decor is perfect if you’re a Liverpool fan.

There is not any air conditioning and we just happened to be there during their hottest days but they provided fans and we were perfectly comfortable

Comfortable beds nice location.

Wasnt told about the netflix, which i found on a review which was a god send, would of loved to of known from the start and due to the shops being a bit of a walk a vending machine would be nice for bottled drinks and light snacks. As a non coffee drinker i would of liked if there was an option to choose either hot chocolate, coffee, tea or a mix. But all these things are very small and was still a really good experience.

Property was just what we needed walking distance to stadium room was modern and clean

Unfortunately our blinds had a knot in the string so we couldn’t get them right down meaning the room was too bright and we woke very early. Our first round of drinks in the bar were very reasonable but the price went up by £7.50 when 2 drinks were changed which seemed an awful lot in comparison to the first round

Location for the football at Anfield was incredible. The property has lots of character and the facilities for socialising pre and post the game were amazing. Danny our host was great with communication and addressing any questions, super friendly.

Beds small and uncomfortable. The green exit light above our door was alight all night - so not a great sleep any night. Room very small and squishy for four adults.

The two guys who we spoke to were excellent, Danny via email was so friendly and helpful and Ian (I think that's his name, he lives on site) was exceptional. He was so friendly, helpful and informative, let us leave our car on the premises after check in (to do the tour) it was just a shame we couldn't find him to say goodbye when we left (he was busy organising some party event there.

Everything was excellent, apart from the green light above the door inside our room, it was like sleeping with a lamp on, so myself and my husband had the worse night sleep ever (pillows over our heads to make it dark). It would be great if that light was removed as there's another one right outside the room.
