Our apartment was perfectly positioned to see the Tyne and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. We were able to leave our bags in reception to collect later in the afternoon

On our arrival, the cleaners spilled out of the lift - one could have done with a shower! It would be helpful to alert people that bus Q3 stops outside and is very useful route

The apartment gave very good value for the money, since it was very cheap compared to the size, view and location. Huge with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a quite large living room. In addition there was a small roof terrace with a spectacular view over the city, river bridges and sunset. Very close to the river front, and a short walk to the Baltic museum over the iconic bridge. It was also nice with a staffed reception, where we could store luggage at our early arrival, and the staff was very helpful both answering questions before arrival and when we arrived and left

Probably this is why it was so cheap: Some of the furniture were worn-down, the kitchen was very minimally equipped, e.g. only with a small completely worn-down pan, only two wine glasses, few tools, etc. The water heating boiler leaked, so the carpet was wet in the hall, which gave you wet socks when entering the Livingroom (we put a towel on the floor to avoid it). They should get a plumber fixing this, since they may get construction damage in the long term (my wife and I are Civil Engineers, so we notice these details,...). The shower head in the bathroom could not be placed high since the fixing did not work.

Really spacious and very clean facility. Excellent neighbouhood and you can walk around and not spend too much on transportation. All we needed in our room were available, except a blender! The tea tray provided to start off, even though basic, was really appreciated.

We met the freezer compartment of the fridge full of ice. It froze so much that the ice was falling out. I think the freezer door needs some fixing...maybe that's why so much ice was forming. But then it seemed that the fridge wasn't working too well either because of the ice formation. The drainage in the shower of the ensuite room wasn't working well. There seemed to be a blockage. The window blind in the sitting room was bad. It was drawn half way and the cable to draw it was lying by the window. We couldn't shut the blind at night nor open it more during the day for ventilation while cooking. This needs fixing asap!

Location was perfect, just a quick stroll away from the bay area and short drive from the city centre. The rooms were of good size although the configuration was rather unique, with many fire-rated doors even within the apartment. Basement covered parking was a winner as it shelters guests from severe weather during getting in and out of the vehicle. Hassle-free checking in and out. The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful... KUDOS!

Would be helpful if the basement carpark has lift to access the reception area, especially with huge and/or multiple luggage to manage. The pathway from the front of the building to the surface carpark behind was uncovered which can be difficult for some guests during rainy season.

The location was good. Close to the river and the bone of there. 15 minute walk into the city. Castle 10 minutes away.

Staff were for the most part friendly however we didn’t have hot water the first night and we had to raise it twice before anything was done. Then on leaving there was a flood from the boiler and there didn’t seem to be much interest with regards to this either. The furniture was not very comfortable when it’s advertised as a “penthouse” you would expect penthouse furniture but it was a very well used and abused way uncomfortable etc. beds weren’t too bad. Both showers had issues with Water staying within the showers.

We have stayed at Dreams Apartments in Newcastle before when visiting family and had been very pleased with the facilities, cleanliness and location of the apartments, so booked for a family night away.

We were disappointed with the lack of equipment in the kitchen area. There was only one teaspoon and a variety of odd items of glassware and crockery. There was no plug for the kitchen sink and no washing up bowl - making it difficult to wash up the few items there were. It was a very blustery evening and the main kitchen window was very draughty and blew open at one point as it would not close fully. Some areas needed a coat of paint. It was a shame as the other facilities - bedrooms, bathrooms etc are good, but it needs some updating.

The apartment itself was lovely for the price that we paid. There was some resemblance to uni halls but the kitchen/living room and views from the window more than make up for it. Bathrooms were very nice too.

Our experience began in reception with queued behind another group for about 15 minutes as there was no member of staff in the room, despite our attempts to call the number provided. Luckily we were not in a rush and so it didn't bother us too much, but I can see how some guest may get frustrated by this. When scrutinised, there were quite a few damages/ dirtiness around the apartment, but as three boys in our early 20s, this didn't bother us too much.

Great location for the Utilita Arena, which was the purpose of our trip. Seemed to be pretty close to town as well. Lots of space in the apartment and especially liked that there were 2 bathrooms. Accessible room with the lift, which was a big advantage. Parking on site.

No plug in kitchen sink so made washing up a little tricky (we didn't have enough for a load in the dishwasher). Could've done with more toilet roll. A sideboard or table in the bedrooms would be useful to put stuff on, for unpacking etc. Or a dressing table to get ready at. Kitchen tap constantly dripping.

We were really pleasantly surprised at how nice the apartment was, it was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay, and if we had been staying longer the washing machine would of been handy. It was the first time for us staying in an apartment rather than a hotel and having a kitchen and separate bedroom made such a difference. It was good value for money, and the location was fine, only a couple of minutes walk from the millennium bridge. We would stay again if we get the chance.

I think it would of been helpful to have a welcome pack with a map of the area, and where the nearest shops are etc

The place was clean, and well equipped. The view from the living room window was amazing. Very close to the city center.

There is parking behind the building, a couple of places over ground and more underground. The access to the underground parking is horrible, there is a very narrow gate (you can see residue paint on the sides of the gate that previous cars have left when scratched their mirrors) and then very steep descent which takes you to an automatic gate. Luckily I've managed to avoid damaging my car. But getting in and out was very unpleasant.
