My husband and I had a lovely time with our dog Arlo. It was a very big comfortable room and we were able to leave Arlo in his cage while we went for breakfast and dinner. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I have no complaints at all about any part of our stay. The only issue I would have is that the bed was extremely hard and I found it difficult to get to sleep. Maybe not a problem on the hotels part as I had not been long out of hospital and had lost quite a lot of weight. This would explain why I found the mattress quite hard. Other than that I had no complaints.

Reception staff were A1 - welcoming and really helpful when I needed a taxi Sunday morning. 10/10. Room a very good size indeed and bed comfortable. I slept really well. Good sized restaurant good for drinks or meal. Didn’t have much food but what I did have was lovely - snack and breakfast. Located right on a main road with bus service around the coast half hourly if you’ve no car.

Restaurant staff more variable - one chap very attentive but otherwise as a solo female I found myself totally “looked through”. Hard to grab attention from table, though other larger groups were actively visited by staff. I had to actively seek staff out. At breakfast on Saturday I was left sitting for ages, ignored by waitress after waitress, until I got up and flagged one. Really need to work on the welcome given to people staying there alone. It’s the one thing that would prevent me staying there again when visiting relatives. Very basic decor - rooms crying out for a makeover. The entire space is such a great one but rooms lack any whao factor or TLC when they’re not bottom of market price wise.

Brilliant setup - I booked an overnight for my Mum’s birthday and we brought my puppy along, there was live music and we had a lovely breakfast. The area is perfect situated beside Ballyreagh Golf Course, between Portrush and Portstewart with perfect paths off the beaten track down by beautiful coves!

The rules outlined on a document when we checked into the room were very strict with regards to penalties for any dog hair left on the bed - although they are dog friendly. Perhaps an older/ non-casting dog would be more suited than a puppy’s first staycation, although we did have a great time and had no difficulties here.

The breakfasts were fabulous. If anything very generous. The staff were terrific. The kitchen sorted all my culinary problems out and went out of their way to help. This refers mainly to the evening meals. The room was fantastic. We couldn't believe the size. The whole ambience of the place was very welcoming and because of all the above, we had a wonderful holiday and would certainly go back again to this lovely hotel.

The 5Lamps Irish Ale ran out and wasn't being replaced!!!

Everything ...... within walking distance of beautiful beaches in Portrush ...... excellent location for leisure and shopping. On the beautiful Causeway Coast ....... if you are travelling without a car don't hire one ..... bus stop and train stop a few minutes away ..... good train service to Coleraine, Ballymena, Belfast and Derry. (worth going to Derry for the beautiful scenic train ride.) Bus journeys from Coleraine to a number of towns and to the Giant's Causeway. . ....excellent restaurants and coffee shops.

Relaxing. Although beside the road and train line, come time to sleep and heard no traffic and no trains past. Staff friendly. Never heard any dogs, never knew they were about, unless dining. But they were in different eating area. Still very well behaved dogs.

Unfortunately, whoever stayed in room before us set timer on the TV. So during the night it randomly went off. Woke us all and slightly frightening as we started to think room had other 'guests'.

Absolutely stunning location with views across the bay. Good walk out of the centre but everything you need is available at the property. We were four motorcyclists on tour and there is a huge car park not visible from the main road so bikes were secure. Bedrooms very comfortable and clean . Lovely food available in the restaurant. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Definitely uses again.

Bit far out of town if wanted to walk there in the evening

From start to last day holiday was faultless. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dog was most welcome. First time we were able to bring Dog into restaurant with us ,beautiful food ,staff offered water and treats for the dog. Our room was spotless. Colleen on reception was so helpful. Cant wait to go back

Could not fault anything about our stay . Thanks to the hard working girls and boys that cleaned the rooms their standards are very high

This was one of the most expensive rooms that we booked during our holiday so we were pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded to the Atlantic Suite on arrival (I have no idea why). The room was enormous! It had 2 king sized beds, 2 twins, a dining table and chairs, a huge TV and sofa to match. There was even a kitchenette next to the bathroom. The bay window had a 3 way view of the coast. The staff were very polite and helpful and we had a pleasant evening meal and delicious breakfast.

It was a shame about the road noise. Shutting the windows helped a bit. The room was a little jaded (not that it bothered us) but the view would have been amazing if the outside of the windows had been cleaned.

A great place. Good breakfast, great meals, good location. A confusion over a free meal was quickly solved to my satisfaction.

The room was a little warm, tried to adjust it at the dial on the wall to no real success. Had to cross the road and walk a few minutes for a place where the dog could do its business, inconvenient at 6am!! These are very minor quibbles. It was quite expensive in the end as walking distance food/drink options limited but knew this was the case.
