We stayed in Avon, a double room looking out over Wilton Market Square at the front of the building. The room had a good size comfortable bed and a nice 2 person sofa, also a good big hidden wardrobe. A good size flat screen tv added to it and a very comfortable shower / bathroom - no bath, but good shower. The housekeeping was impeccable, when my wife needed to rest, we were left alone, but if we asked for anything it was provided, if possible. The food, which I had expected to be standard inn fare, was anything but. The Venison and Beef that I had were exceptional, some of the finest meat I have ever had. The only comparison I have is with The Cross at Kenilworth, which has , or had, a Michelin star. Yes, it really was that good. Add exceptional help and service from all the staff, especially when my wife was not well, and you have an inn to savour and enjoy. Add to this some good little shops on Market Square, an Italianate church that has to be seen to be believed, and finally the oldest pub in Wilton, The Bear Inn, in no way a competitor, but an old pub of the village variety. Buses to Salisbury frequent and clean.

Lovely clean and modern hotel room. The bathroom was brand new big and modern. The soaps and lotion smelled good. The restaurant downstairs was so good for dinner and breakfast. All of the staff were amazing. We didn’t use the outside garden cause it rained but lovely garden with 5 small huts to sit in with beautiful lights in the evening. Perfect parking right outside. The Wilton house was right close by where the Crown, Bridgerton, Black Adder and about 40 other tv series and movies have been filmed. Spent a whole day here. Guided tour of house is recommended. Buses run to Salisbury and only takes 15 min.

The bed was a bit too small for my liking. A street light shone bright into bedroom. Minor details.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Greyhound Inn Wilton and, quite frankly, I am still basking in the afterglow of such a wonderful experience. This B&B truly encapsulates the epitome of fine hospitality with its exceptional service, modern amenities, convenient location, and, above all, a breakfast to rival any other. The staff at Greyhound Inn Wilton embodies professionalism and cordiality, which resonates throughout your stay. From check-in to check-out, every interaction was seamlessly handled, ensuring that all our needs were catered to with the utmost attention and care. Each room at Greyhound Inn radiates comfort and style, creating an inviting sanctuary after a long day of sightseeing or business meetings. The accommodations are plush and well-maintained, boasting clean lines, modern amenities, and an unparalleled level of hygiene that can match the standards of even the most discerning guest. Yet, it is the breakfast at Greyhound Inn that truly sets it apart from the rest. It’s not just a meal; it's a culinary journey that is both hearty and delectable. The freshly brewed coffee was particularly noteworthy - a perfect pick-me-up that left us refreshed and energised for the day. The attention to detail, quality of ingredients, and presentation all contribute to a memorable breakfast experience. In summary, Greyhound Inn is not just a B&B , but an experience that you will cherish. The unforgettable breakfast experience is just the cherry on top of a stay that excels in every aspect. I highly recommend it for your next trip, and I personally can't wait for another chance to revel in the hospitality and gastronomic delights that this hotel has to offer.

Not ideal for larger group as they only have 6 rooms.

The room was lovely & the little additional touches made it exceptional like Kilner jars with sugar cubes for the coffee, tea & biscuits every day. Even the water was in specialised glass bottles. The room easy airy, spaces, cleaned & replenished every day we were in Nadder overlooking the “Courtyard Garden”. The Courtyard Garden is lovely with several pods that are always booked for food & drinks. We were advised to book the restaurant prior to our arrival so glad we did they were always fully booked. “Hats off” to the chef/s the food is very well cooked, arrives in good time, very well priced & absolutely delicious. Breakfast is amazing. Everybody working there can tell you what you are eating/drinking, where it has come from & are very enthusiastic about serving you. We went for my husbands “Sky Dive” at “Old Sarum Airfield” what an amazing long weekend. We will certainly be going back to the “Greyhound Wilton” & I am going to book another Skydive as he wanted to go again as soon as he landed & I will book the Greyhound again.

Staff: Fantastic! Welcoming and highly attentive. Great team! Room: I was travelling on business at the room felt very homely. Evening meal: Simply outstanding. I had steak on both nights and it was fantastic. Swift service and it tasted fantastic. Credit to the chef.

Breakfast: Only a very minor point really. Breakfast starts at 8am, maybe 7:45 if requested but this was way too late for me because my meetings started at 9am so I missed breakfast on both days. I was offered a selection of pastries to take away on the second day of my stay but they didn’t really know what to offer and seemed to be clutching at straws really. Appreciate the thought though. Again, only minor when taking my overall brilliant stay. Heads up for any business travellers.

From the beautiful well presented room with super comfy bed to the above and beyond staff who really went the extra mile, a fantastic breakfast and amazing location. This stay was everything it needed to be. My son's food preferences and needs were accommodated with respect and kindness. We had everything we needed and more. The best thing for me was the bed which was ridiculously comfortable, the best thing according to my eight year old was that they had sparkling water in the room. He said that if he had to give it a rating out of 100 he'd give it a thousand. It was a truly lovely stay. Would highly recommend.

I literally can not think of anything that I didn't like about this stay. It really was amazing.

We really liked the atmosphere in the Inn and our room was lovely, with a seating area outside to take advantage of a short spell of sunshine. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We ate in the Inn on our first night and the food was great and very reasonably priced. Our only disappointment was they were fully booked for our 2nd night! The Inn is in the centre of Wilton which is a lovely little town with walks by the river, several coffee shops and a beautiful italianate church

We've only scored 9 out of 10 for a minor reason - the towel rail was too small!

A lovely, warm room. Great breakfast served in good time by a lovely lady. Sorry I didn't get your name . We booked a table for dinner on Saturday evening and were not disappointed. Good food at a good price. The town is small and friendly, plenty of lovely buildings and walks in the area. Definitely worth a visit.

Unfortunately, the skirting board in the bathroom had quite a thick layer of dust on it and black mould spots were clearly visible in the shower cubicle. Otherwise, a great room.

Lovely pub in the middle of Wilton. Good parking, rooms and pub very well looked after and to a high standard. Our room in the old coach house was great, quiet and overlooking the garden seating area. Ate there on Saturday evening, food was good, staff were friendly and attentive. Good breakfast.

Not much to say really. Some of the beds were a bit firm for us but that is all personal preference so wouldn’t say they were uncomfortable.

Another great stay at the greyhound. We stayed here last year as a stopover before going on to Cornwall and decided we had to come back again this year. Staff are so happy, friendly and overall amazing. The food is 11/10, compliments to the chef. We stayed in the family room that is located in the garden and it was so clean and comfortable. Amazing shower and other facilities such as tv and kitchen. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so peaceful and relaxing.
