The Croft Guest House

Quality English cooked breakfast and lots of cereal, yoghurt, fruit, juices and coffee choices. Room was well equipped with comfy bed (pillows not comfy - felt like stuffed with cotton wool balls!), flat screen tv, lovely modern bathroom with two sinks and good mirrors. Central location, ten minutes walk into town and view of the big wheel from our bedroom. Kevin the owner is very friendly and helpful. Perfect for a 2-3 night stay in Stratford!

The pillows were awful, shabby lace curtain with large rip could easily have been replaced. On the whole, the place is fine, just a little dated but they are trying to update things, like the garden which is being overhauled, fake turn, palm trees, hot tub ..coming along nicely.

Location is central to the town (5-10min walk). The room was clean, relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable. Parking (free) was a bonus (Stratford is a bit of a challenge for parking). Very, very dog friendly. Breakfast was a pleasant and tasty experience. The host (Kevin) couoldn't be more helpful and acccommodating. Our first go-to-place if we can get booked in, when staying in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Nothing. Everything was as expected. A nice palce to stay.

The breakfast was excellent with a light and airy breakfast room. The bedroom was spacious with enormous kingsized bed and a separate bed as we had requested twin beds. The location was good - only a short walk to the RSC and centre of Stratford. Parking was available at the front and rear of the property without charge.

The shower room was very "tight" certainly not suitable for a large person and the shower grouting was very stained with mould. The shower fitments were quite dated.

The Guest House was extremely welcoming and comfortable. The rooms were lovely, the bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was delightful and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very enjoyable, from the setting to the choice of both hot and cold food, lovely to have mango juice as an alternative to orange juice and the coffee was excellent. It was also lovely to have parking at the rear of the property, with a walk through the garden to access the house.

Very pleasant hosts, good food , comfortable bed, excellent location for sight seeing, only 5 minutes walk to centre. Parking spaces at the front and more round the back. Although on fairly busy road was very quiet at night. Owner had an accident following day after arrival and spent weekend in hospital. Hope he's OK. Wife stepped into the breach and although not used to doing the breakfasts, coped well, especially with the worry of it all.

Walk in Shower had a large fixed overhead shower head, I like the ones you can take off , especially for rinsing my hair, but that is a personal preference, which really has nothing to do with the perfectly good shower cubicle , In fact lovely bathroom.

Very pleasant comfortable guest house in an excellent location for the centre of Stratford. Our room was large and comfortable and very clean. Plenty of parking which is always a bonus. Owners very pleasant and helpful. Good breakfast.

My only complaint would be that the water from the shower ran into the bathroom so we had to keep mopping it up with towels.

Quite, small guest house, great owners very helpful, owner solved a parking problem for me, I have a very large wide car and he solved the issue very fast. The place was spotlessly clean, breakfast very good, and the owner was very knowledgeable about the local area. A great stay, if I need the area again this will be top of my list to stay. 5 star recommend

Nothing at all

The facility was very nice and had everything that we needed. The location was especial good since it was walking distance to the river and shopping district/Shakespeare's home. The hostess was exceptionally sweet and accommodating.

Although we were able to park in the spaces in front of the house, it was very tight and you had to back onto a busy street. However, we managed and the fact that there was no extra charge for parking was a plus.

The Guest House was well located a short walk from the theatre and town centre. The owner was very welcoming and property was very clean. There were plenty of teas, coffees etc in the room, along with some tasty biscuits. The shower was strong and good selection of toiletries and towels were provided. The breakfast was excellent, with a lovely selection of fresh fruit, cereals and teas and the cooked breakfast was delicious.

I loved the huge grand pieces of furniture instead of modern formulaic rooms often found in old buildings. We had a gorgeous view from our sash window. Its location is perfect for walking into the main areas of Stratford. Our hosts were welcoming and a mine of information, if required.
