Harbour Place 5060

We love the smaller properties when it comes to our actual walk to the beach, parking, elevator wait times, etc. This location meets those requirements. It is small but has everything we need to enjoy our beach vacay.

Short distance to beach, smaller crowds than the large multi story tower condos. Never an issue with parking. This complex only has 5 levels. We stayed on the 5th floor but could be on our beach towel near the ocean in less than 5 minutes....

Property looked old, bottom outside of bathtub was rusted with a hope showing, slide door was hard to open and close

Location was good. Beach was very close. Nice side view from the balcony. Well furnished and clean. The complex is quiet. Indoor/outdoor pool. Nice stay.

The bed was a little firm.

The property was quiet and had a nice pool area.

The property was dated. The building was being worked on and the bathrooms needed updating badly. Some of the electrical outlets didn’t work. When you us d the dryer it sounded like someone like someone hammering against the building.

We liked the fact the door lock was a key code versus a card. That way we didn’t have to carry the key card or worrying about losing it. We liked the indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub. Location was great. Plenty of parking.

The kitchen was dirty, ex: thick dust on top of the short refrigerator, inside refrigerator was not clean. Could be that housekeeping missed cleaning the fridge. (?) The sliding glass door to the patio was very hard to open&close. The kitchen dishes smelled really bad (like foot order), guessing this was from the cabinets. Most of all, the elevators are slow. We were on the 5th (top floor). We took the stairs several times….I’m all about cardio but enough was enough.

Good access to the beach

Comforter in the master suite looked like it had not been washed, carpet very stained in master suite, patio door very hard to open, constant hammering on the roof right above us early in the morning (Saturday).

Did not have breakfast offered at this property

The strong oder of cleaning chemicals was overwhelming and they place was not clean. There was old food in the garbage disposal (i did contact the property manager and she will be handling the situation). The bathroom cabinet has alot of water damage, causing mildew oder. The slide door was nearly impossible to open.

The condo had been trashed by previous occupants, so the facility did have the furniture professionally cleaned the day we were due to arrive. However, that meant the whole living room was useless. The couch and all the chairs were soaking wet when we got there, rendering the entire living room unable to be used. I had young children with me, with nowhere for them to sit the first day, they hadn't even turned the air or fans on to dry the furniture! Also, the vents has dryer sheets ties to them to mask a mildew smell. We also found nibbled on cheetos on the floor in the 2 bedrooms.
