Fairfield Inn & Suites Orange Beach

Excellent service, location and breakfast.

I like firm mattresses but ours needed to be replaced. This is only meant as a suggestion. A microwave would be a great addition, nothing fancy-just serviceable. I used the one in the room to heat my bagel which made it softer and chewier. I used the toasted in the eating area but much prefer the microwave. Also, the muffins are much better when microwaved about 10 to 15 seconds.

The staff was amazing, the room, and everything else was clean. The pool was great. Walking distance from the beach, dominos and Walmart so super convenient. I would definitely stay again.

The ONLY two issue I had was that the toilet made this flushing noise constantly after flushing it and it would go on for hours. The toilet worked, it was just the noise it made afterwards. We had a 4 day stay so we closed the door and blocked it off with a towel and continued to enjoy the rest of our stay. Secondly, the breakfast was not good. Not completely terrible, just not good. We only went down once for breakfast.

Great location almost in front of the beach. Very nice staff. Our room was clean with a nice view on waterfront where we could see turtles and gators. Stores and restaurants are at walking distance. Really a great stay overall.

This hotel was PERFECT for my needs. The staff greeted me and treated me as if I were the most important guest in town. Gamal was especially helpful, and Melinda was professional and welcoming. The location was close to the beach, and I was able to get to all of my appointments with ease. The breakfast area was spacious, and the tables and chairs were comfortable. My room was fine - just one little issue with the shower that did not affect my comfort. My bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was large enough for a big guy to maneuver in.

The ONLY thing I would bring to the attention of the staff here is some minor water damage on the shower ceiling, and a tiny leak in the showerhead. Again, these did NOT diminish my satisfaction with the overall facility.

The breakfast was good. The hotel was within walking distance of a few restaurants and shops as well as the beach.

There was a discrepancy in our quoted price and what the hotel was trying to charge upon checkout. The hotel staff worked with our booking agent to correct it.

The property is within walking distance of the beach, shops (including Walmart) and restaurants. It’s a quick drive if you want to venture out to the public beach access (reasonable parking rates). Everything was clean, the staff was friendly and they served a full breakfast.

There was a mixup with our stay and we didn’t get the room with a balcony that we booked (I wanted to be able to hang towels/beach gear out to air out). The hotel was unwilling to work with us. To be fair, they were sold out of rooms with balconies, but Booking.com worked with us since the hotel would not. I also disliked the fact that the first night, we were accused of “smoking pot” by a member of the staff bringing us towels. We had our two kids with us and were doing baths and getting ready for bed. It was very odd and extremely rude.

Easy access to the beach and to the trailheads at the state park. Breakfast was excellent, but get there early. Staff got a little behind on keeping items on the line as the crowd grew.

TV in the bedroom of the suite did not work. Reported it twice.

The staff was exceptionally welcoming and nice! the room most definitely exceeded my expectations! Hotel was very clean! The snacks and drinks were a reasonable price as well! My partner and i were very surprised at that!

I personally do not see anything that couldve been better except the thermostat in front part of hotel did not work so "living room" area and bathroom was hot
