Comfort Suites Mobile West/Tillmans Corner

The room was excellent. Very spacious. All amenities within the room were not in short supply. Plenty of towels, etc.

Within the room, the Kleenex box had just 2 tissues. They missed that step. The night front desk employee was uninviting. He did his job. But didn't extend his courtesy outside of getting the job done. No smile to greet me. He might have mumbled hello. I couldn't quite hear him. But not until I said "Hi" first. The morning front desk employee was the same. She offered just a "hello" after I initiated it. She didn't ask anything about my stay. Just a business-like thank you and a mumbling "Have a good day" when turning in my room key. No eye contact or smiley greeting. These are minor complaints. But for a 3-Star rating, and paying a bit more, it should be expected.

After a very long day on the road we finally made it to Mobile. Our daughter lives near Tillman's Corner and we planned to stay nearby, but since her move to that area, other motels in TC just haven't been satisfactory. I took a chance and made a reservation for Comfort Inn, and I am so glad! We paid a tiny bit more than usual, but it was SO worth it. The front desk attendant was super friendly and efficient, and got us checked in very quickly and easily. The room was one of the cheaper options, but it had everything we could have needed. It was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We intend to choose Comfort Inn in Tillman's Corner when we return to Mobile! We finally found the best!

our first trip here. on entry i was greeted by both toni and manny. they quickly issued room keys, gave me a welcome. told me about the location of laundry ,ice machine and my room. we found the room to be a little dated and showed some wear but was clean and neat with all things promised. we were pleased with the facility. we were trying to avoid hurricane and the gm ms toni went beyond expectations when she extended our reservation one more day due to no electricity,gas or food at home. then she extended it five more days. brrittany,tameilca.manny and diamond all helped us in some way and never gave us any thing but kindness and understanding. they never seem to carry a bad experience with some crazy unreasonable person over to dealing with us when we needed more towels etc ms nisee personally handled every request with prompt attention and big smile even while she really was sick one day. the maintance man jimmy was quick to say let me handle that for you concerning trash and a coffee spill. this was a stay that was not a vacation. it was not business. it was trying to stay alive and see how much damage to our home and property we would get. BUT THIS WONDERFUL GROUP OF KIND FOLKS MADE IT TOLERABLE FOR US DURING A HARD TIME. WE ARE VERY GRATEFUL TO EACH PERSON AND I HOPE I DIDNT FORGET ANY PERSON. THERE WAS NOT EVEN ONE TIME WHERE THE STAFF WAS NOT FANTASTIC.

THE BUFFET IS REALLY A SNACK BAR WITH COFFEE. THIS SHOULD NOT BE ADVERTISED AS A BREAKFAST BUFFET OR EVEN AS FREE BREAKFAST. THE LIDS TO THE COFFEE CUPS MOSTLY DONT FIT THE CUPS AND ITS REALLY A BALANCING ACT TO CARRY TWO CUPS AND A WALKING CANE BACK TO THE ROOM. THE COFFEE TASTES GREAT AND IT IS REFILLED AS NEEDED. BUT OVERALL ALL I WOULD GIVE THE BREAKFAST A B THE FIRST DAY AND IT DECREASES FROM THERE TO A LOW C. EVERYTHING OFFERED IS OK BUT IT IS VERY LIMITED.

Poor breakfast, tv didn't work in sitting area of room but tv by bed did. Shampoo bottle half empty had been used and left in bathroom.

Absolutely everything!! The staff were amazing and very professional! I had absolutely no problem the entire time I was there! They made it completely stress free! We will be coming back!

There’s nothing I didn’t like about the property it was amazing!

our king bedroom was large with a full couch and partial wall between couch and bed. I was able to go to sleep without bright lights while my husband watched tv. clean and comfortable. we plan on staying here again on our trips to see our son and his family in Houston.

Food was ok and rooms were clean

Stood in line long because room was not ready, and I was charged twice for one night manager said she call but has not gotten back with me I WILL NOT COME BACK A LADY HUNG UP ON ME TWICE AND SAID SHE WAS NEW SHE SHOULD BE FIRED FOR DOING THAT.

The location for the Spanish Fort area and downtown all surrounding bay area.

Carpet looks dirty in the hotels common areas, I was charged $266.54 then authorized ,another $314.54 on my card front desk no help.

The employees were very nice and we had an undisturbed peaceful time.

Our bed had a few crumbs in it before we got into it. The shower’s water pressure was low. The mirror in our bathroom was not clean. when we showered we could see a message someone had left on the mirror.

The room was spacious and clean with a sitting area. It was a nice place to stay in the suburbs of the city. very convenient if you are transiting through Mobile city. Ample parking space on the property. we loved the breakfast! had a variety of breakfast tacos, egg and pancakes.
