The receptionist was so nice! She even recommended a restaurant for us to go to that was good! Room was good, could have used 2 chairs instead of 1 to watch tv, my husband sat in the chair, and i had to sit on the bed, other than that a very good experience!

We actually travel from Houston to Central Florida twice a year to visit family. We had been staying in Panama City and Pensacola on prior trips. There were some pretty nasty pet friendly hotels in those areas. Mobile is half way so we chose Mobile and the Booking.com adds supported the hotel very well so now we will be stopping in for rest both ways in our future plans.

My husband asked me to comment on the cover sheet of the king bed. He said it was not large enough to tuck in the sides and it kept coming off him during the night. I used the sheet and cover so I did not notice this. Check out time being noon is also an advantage. Thank you. we don't have to rise in a panic to get checked out.

We just recently discovered the Tru brand. We like the minimalist style of the chain. Price is reasonable because there are not extra frills. Several restaurants and shopping opportunities nearby. Also, right next to the minor league ballpark (easily walkable) if you wanted to attend a game (no game the night stayed).

We were disappointed breakfast was not ready at 6am as advertised. One of the staff did not show up to work. This caused us to leave later than we planned. Variety and quality of breakfast was still good.

I loved that the property was pet friendly and very accommodating. The welcome bag was a special touch and the front desk clerk relocated my room so the dog area was a few steps away.

I didn’t like the extra dog fee. I think dog owners should be required to leave a pet deposit so if the pet causes damages the hotel can recover costs. But my dog is so good and doesn’t shed or chew that it’s a bit unfair to have to pay for her to be there. Maybe if the pet gets a rating by the hotel as a “good Fur Customer”, the pet fee can be waived for future stays. If I travel with my kids, I don’t pay an additional fee to have them (and they consumer more than my dog at breakfast) so why should I pay for my “good, well mannered dog”?

Quite honestly, the pictures online did not do the facility justice. I knew the place is going to look nice, but I did not expect there to be such a minimalistic design to a majority of the facility, I never truly realized until that point in my life that I really liked that design aspect. 9 out of 10, will return

The real complaint I can think of is the lack of comfort when it comes to the pillows, but everything else was fine

Tru by Hilton is a "happy hotel." Never used those words before to describe a hotel. Everything about it was "different" in a cheerful, comforting and lively manner. The lobby was welcoming in a playful way--bright colors, funny welcoming one-liners on the entry door, comfy seating and a "come-into-our-living-room" feel about it. I was surprised! It is practical in an environmental sense with a reduction in the disposables that clutter the garbage cans in most hotels, ice machines every other floor, and little different things that make the point that they've thought about decluttering, lessening garbage, and the environmental impact of tired travelers. I liked it. I will stay again. (And for people who are impacted by color--this place does it. The design is lively, "happy," and almost "sideways" compared to what we've all grown accustomed to in traveling. Kudos to Hilton for re-imagining the "look" of a hotel.

I can't think of anything I would change. Although it took me a minute or two to adjust to the different feel of this hotel, the positivity and thoughtfulness behind it won me over quickly. Don't change a thing...let the guests have time to adjust. Wonderful experience!

Loved the modern room! Very Ikea-ish. Bed was comfy and breakfast was great. Storage is only wall racks and under bed. Especially liked their in house soap and lotion. Staff was wonderful. They have a pool table and beachy style outside seating that was enjoyable. Lobby and hotel have a fresh vibe. Food and shopping mall were super close. Would definitely stay here again!!!!

Bathroom showers could be cleaned a bit better in corners and caulking revived.

The room was clean and modern, everything worked. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was welcoming. It was quiet, i didn't hear other guests. It Is right off the freeway, but set back, so no traffic noise. Plenty of restaurants near by.

I didn't like the two traffic circles i had to negotiate. I really dislike traffic circles, but that's just me.

Tru by Hilton in Mobile Alabama is a great location to spend the night. The rooms are quite clean and the beds very comfortable. The free breakfast offered is also quite delicious. The lobby area has a business center pool table board games and lots of other cool amenities, I did not get a chance to try the fitness center but they’re free weights and a treadmill.

I really LOVED the fact that they made my furry companion feel like she was so important with that wonderful welcome package.I liked the fact that they had amenities that would pre occupy my kid and grandkids spare time. The beds were so comfortable that i wanted to lay there all day!

Pricing was kind of high and all rooms are non smoking. It was cold outside so there should've been a heated designated area for smokers.
