Econo Lodge Oxford

It was very clean. Staff was friendly. The only noise was from the road. I liked the convenience of being able to park right outside my room. I think it's pet friendly too, which I did not know at the time of booking and will be good to keep in mind for later. I believe I read at the front desk that the pet fee is $20 a night.

The parking lot is very bright (good for safety) and the curtains did not block the light out very well at night (not good for sleeping purposes.) The bed was not the most comfortable and breakfast was extremely limited. They only had yogurt, blueberry muffins, and some kind of breakfast sandwich. There was no fruit or cereal or anything else offered.

Staff very friendly and responsive. Items in room very clean, bathroom items clean.

Floors need cleaning very badly. I noticed it last time we stayed but I'm not sure if I reported it. The dark vinyl flooring hides the dirt so housekeepers probably don't realize how dirty they are. I told the office staff upon leaving about that problem so hopefully they're addressing it. Luckily I brought flip flops so I could slip them on and off during the night trips to the bathroom!

The location was fine having a ton of stuff near by. The complementary breakfast was okay at best, but was some nice selections. The pool could of had better up keep but it was still a nice little pool to swim and relax at. People mostly kept to themselves as my friends and me were a bit loud on nights watching TV and joking around so either the sound proofing in the rooms were top notch or we just didn't upset them enough.

Staff seemed uninterested in talking most of the time, was a tad bit of a hassle to get certain things. Like rags and towles. Bad timing on my part with the road crew repaving the road next to the hotel so there was construction sounds on some days when they got closer to the hotel room.

Fast exceeded my expectations. Clean, comfy, so duper friendly staff, and though it was a little more than I normally spend on accommodations(I stay in aLOT of motels and always try to find the cheapest which means I stay in a lot of really bad motels) I felt I got a lot more for just a little more money. I went to a race track nearby that I plan to go to again and I already know I’ll be staying at Econolodge - Oxford next time.

was very clean, was close to funeral home, and staff upon arrival were fantastic.

the night I booked and put in request for early check-in , I called hotel and woman that answered the phone at front desk was very rude , and let me know under no circumstance could I check in before 3:00 . I tried to explain I had to be at funeral home by 2:00 she would not make any exemptions . I was happy upon arrival early they accommodated my request.

Not too much to chose on breakfast. Still good price. Wendy’s was across the street. Don’t let web site scare one away from the “tub only”, it does have a shower.

The floors could have been cleaner. White socks got black on bottoms. Other amenities very clean.

it was near walmart and fast food and Starbucks

I saw a roach and I couldn’t place the smell during my three night stay but it was thick with insecticide , bug spray smell gave me a headache , but better than live bugs.. met the manager once the night before , he was too eager to see me leave apparently and would not give a late checkout

The man who greeted us at the front desk was very friendly and offered assistance if needed.

My room smelled so “musty”. It definitely needed a dehumidifier and deep clean to rid of the smell. We were so tired after driving all day and anticipated another day to reach our destination that we went right to bed.

This hotel does not get enough credit! It's a 5 star hotel w a 2 star price. It's clean updated quiet pet friendly & did I say clean yes it's CLEAN w modern furniture & great beds with pillows you cannot resist. There's even free wifi and breakfast ! Trust me there's no better hotel in this town w everything you get here for the price. Econo Lodge u will always have my business & thank you for a wonderful & refreshing stay!

There's nothing here not to like especially for the price it's like staying at the Hilton w all the amenities plus it's pet friendly

Price, and was close to the place we were going. Had a lot of places to eat. And the person that checked us in was very nice and helpful 🙂

It was kind of loud from the motorcycle coming at night. But other then that.
