La Quinta by Wyndham Oxford - Anniston

I have stayed in several of the hotels in this exit for the past 8 years. This is by far the BEST of them all. Newly updated, white glove clean and the staff, friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely make this my "Go To" hotel in my travels back and forth to NC. Thank you for striving and achieving Excellence!!

The computer program aptly doesn't prevent a room from being keyed to two different people. A man not with me, had a key that opened my door. Thankfully I had the deadbolt and top lock on. I yelled through the door that I was in the room. He went away and the front desk called to ask my name. I had to bring up the fact that someone had tried to get in my room. But it worked out ok.

The room was pleasant and spacious. The gym was enough to get a good workout. Many hand weights👍 Only 30 minute drive to Cheaha State Park. The breakfast was pretty good as well. A variety of restaurants to choose from. Many of the shops do close early though, 6pm. Overall it was great for the price. We stayed for 3 nights.

The beds were not as comfortable for us. If you like a firm mattress then you’ll be pleased. The a/c wasn’t cold enough.

Broken Shower Head and the breakfast could have been better.

The location was good. Our room was spacious & clean. The breakfast was better than expected. The staff was very friendly.

There were several people staying at the hotel who were taking up multiple parking spaces because they were hauling trailers, boats and other vehicles. This caused parking spaces to be a little scarce. There were spots that they could have parked along the curb but instead parked longways. This was our only issue, but even with this one issue our stay was great and we would recommend this hotel to others.

The rooms were clean

they canceled my room while I was in the way to check in, said my card was invalid, get there my card works with no problem. We used my dad’s card for them to reinstate the reservation and hold the room for us to get there and his card was charged 2 separate times for our room. Both ladies we talked to about it were rude and condescending. Even though the room was very clean and the halls were quite we won’t be going back.

Couldn’t get the air to run so the room was extremely hot. The kitchen staff had a dog running around, which is unacceptable, everybody that stays in your facilities do not think eating food behind a dog , is clean…It literally turnt our stomach which we didn’t eat breakfast the next morning for that particular reason.

We enjoy every moment of our time there. Everything we’re very clean and the problem we had being near the back door people coming in and out smoking keep the hallway smelling like smoke. And we elderly so we didn’t rest good 😊

The breakfast was AMAZING and my girls LOVED the fact they got to make their own waffles, they were super excited about that! Both my husband and my two girls loved it ! We were very satisfied with our stay and will be back! The room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable, the staff was EXCELLENT! We have absolutely no complaints! We also loved the fact that we could sign into our Netflix account on the tv so our girls could watch something they liked.

Everything was perfect !

The bed was soooo comfortable!! Everyone was pretty nice. I would come back. Our stay was actually very pleasant and we would rent a room again there if we need one. Can’t express how comfy the bed was and that’s the main thing I look for in renting a room. Ty all very much.

Never could get an answer about the pool. Front desk said she thought it was open but didn’t know. Email said it wasn’t then called back and desk said it was. We ended up not using it bc of all the confusion.
