Inlet Tower Hotel & Suites

The room was large and comfortable, the beds were soft and cozy. The hotel was only 6-8 blocks to everything, and we had fun discovering things by foot in town. The breakfast was unusual, usually in other hotels that serve breakfast, every thing is laid out and you help yourself to what you want. Here, we had to order our breakfasts, so breakfast was a tad slow. We ended up sitting down for breakfast at the restaurant on the ground floor. We had all the lemonade we wanted, this jar was made available near front desk.

The wifi service was terrible, the connection kept dropping out.

Friendly receptionist, very comfortable room (Elite Queen suite). Pricing is excellent compared to nearby establishments Breakfast is simple but adequate & nice servers . WiFi very good. City market supermarket 2 minute's walk away for basic nesscities but very expensive. If you're fussy, tend to look for faults. you're probably going to find faults most places you go but if you're looking for a comfortable night's sleep try Inlet Towers & Suites. If you're looking for excellent excursions i reccomend Alaska Exquisite Travel, Jeremy & Carissa are lovely caring couple

Great location...while not exactly "downtown" Anchorage, it was within easy walking distance to anywhere you could want to go in the city. The included breakfast was adequate but the restaurant was amazing if you wanted to upgrade to eating in there. We especially loved the very effective blinds in the room since we were there during the summer solstice when the daylight hours were over 20. Loved the restaurant...and highly recommend the ribs! Huge quantities and they were delicious! The front desk staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. I had difficulty using the lobby computer and printer to print off my required excursion papers, and the front desk clerk (Tony) had me email it to him so he could print it at the desk. Then, he showed me some photos he had of the Bay Area there, which were so beautiful...so he emailed those to me as well. +++ Over and above customer service...thanks Tony!

The elevator was a bit older, slow and creaky...which had me worried at first, but it was fine. There was nothing to really dislike here.

The staff was very friendly, from Jerry who came to pick us up at the airport late at night, to the receptionists and the lovely Sara and Sydney who helped us with breakfast with a smile. They offer gluten free options and vegan options for breakfast. The location is convenient, very close to walk to the city centre and close to a supermarket. The room was big, and so where the 2 beds, a little kitchen with fridge, coffee machine and sink was also really useful. There also is a little gym on the second floor which is easy to access and has the essential for a quick workout while on holiday.

The WiFi could be better, the signal was very low.

Hotel is old and it shows, but it is a decent value. Bathroom is in dire need of update, and is very small. The included breakfast is your choice of a Jimmy Dean breakfast biscuit or one of a couple of types of muffins. You can choose a fruit cup (Dole) or yogurt. Then you get a choice of one cup of coffee or hot tea, or bottled water, or bottled juice.

The Inlet Pub offered delicious food both for dinner and breakfast. The front desk staff was helpful and patient when we needed to have our bags held after check-out.

They offer a free shuttle from the airport and the train station, but not to the downtown "tourist hub." If the weather is warm and clear, many things are within comfortable walking distance, but our stay was cold and rainy and a quick shuttle ride instead of walking 15 minutes in the rain would have been welcomed.

The room was huge and comfortable. The King Suite had a kitchen area, living room, and separate bedroom. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel shuttle drops off and picks up from the airport and train station. The hotel is in more of a residential area, so dining options are limited, but it is only a short Uber/Lyft ride from everything. There is also an on-site restaurant.

There were no restaurants close by, but that was not an issue for us.

I love this place! It's very close to the airport, the rooms are really big and so are the beds, very comfortable mattress and pillows! The kitchenette has all the essentials, there is great natural light and artificial when needed. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I visited different hotels during my trip, but this was definitely the best one of all! This time I had a room on the 12th floor and the viewing was stunning!

I like the convenience of the location. Close to downtown but far enough away to avoid heavy traffic. Airport shuttle is fast and convenient. The mini breakfast Cafe is a great way to start your day. Take it back to your room, or on your way out for the day.

It would have been nice to have better towels. Other than that, it is a bit outdated but very homey.

Excellent service. We had to call for help from maintenance twice and they were very prompt and efficient. The front desk staff were polite

Some deferred maintenance. Our room was on an upper floor and it was quite warm. The A/C unit made a very loud noise when we tried to use it, so we had them bring us a fan, which worked fine. The microwave smelled like something burning when we tried to heat water for tea and the room got smoky. They brought us a new microwave quickly when we called maintenance. Breakfast was very limited and of marginal quality.
