Hampton Inn & Suites Phoenix North/Happy Valley

Breakfast was sufficient and had several options. The price was good. Distance from the Phoenix airport was ideal. A late check-in was helpful as we didn't get to the hotel until after midnight.

Everything was clean, but the hotel felt a little dated. Some construction was going on during our stay, but this did not bother us too much.

I didn’t really like the breakfast to be quite honest… The eggs are funny… I was wondering if it was strange powder mix and water or something? I did like the selection of fruit and yogurt. Waffles are always delicious!! And I would’ve preferred bacon over sausage. There was a nice selection of juice, and it was nice to have coffee and flavored creamers-

I went to your little grocery store in the hotel to get ice cream it was way too incredibly expensive- And then again it was nice to have a little selection to choose from without driving to a store-

Loved the breakfast. Was everything one could want. The location was perfect. Had everything I needed around me along with good views of the desert. Loved it a ton primarily for location and the overall hotel was nice and clean.

What I didn't love too much is all stuff that's not easily fixed by the hotel. I think the placement of the coffee maker in the room was weird to be in the bathroom and that the tv should honestly be a smart tv at this point. Our's in our room didn't even work sadly so I was unable to utilize that but over all the room was pretty good!

The staff was amazing. Barbara was very sweet and had excellent customer service. The location was amazing. The bed and sheets were so comfortable to sleep in! I could not wake up of how comfy I was! The bathroom was very nice & clean! I would definitely come her again & recommended this hotel.

Entire area where hotel is located is relatively new area and very nice. Stores and restaurants are close by, and some are walking distance. Even though it is close to Freeway, rooms are still quiet. Staff is exceptionally nice and friendly. Now that Covid situation has improved, regular breakfast is back and it's really good.

One weird thing about the property is that there is a line of bushes separating two areas of the parking lot. The bushes make it difficult to drag your suitcase through to the entrance of the hotel. Mild inconvenience, but just an odd architectural choice.

I love how clean the overall hotel was. I love how friendly and helpful the staff was, always willing to help and very polite. The hotel was conveniently located near shops and restaurants.

Honestly I have nothing negative to say about this hotel everything and everyone was extremely helpful and nice. I will be booking my stay at this hotel in the future.

This will be my go-to hotel chain from now on. It was refreshing to see exactly what the pictures online showed. This one was under renovations during our stay but I never heard or seen the work being done. The staff was great and our room was too.

The location was excellent for us, the staff were helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Beds were good and breakfast options were very good

Nothing to dislike, that we found. When we first stayed the pool was being refinished, when we returned it was completed and was a nice outlook.

One of the reasons I always book with the Hampton was their beds—it used to be luxurious. They have changed. The mattress is too bouncy, the feather pillows were worn out, the other pillows provide no support, the comforter was flimsy, and the sheets felt scratchy.

Breakfast was basically coffee and bagels or cupcake, covid safe. We ate at IHOP for breakfast. Didn't really plan on eating in the hotel anyway. The receptionists and staff were all very nice and helpful! A great location North of the city right off the main highway. It is right next to a shopping mall with everything you might need within walking distance.

The only issue I had was the toilet size. I am 6'2' tall, 70yrs old and have bad knees. If I would have thought about it I would have reserved a room with a taller toilet!
