La Quinta by Wyndham Fort Smith

My dad and I stopped here during our cross-country road trip and we loved how nice and well-kept the hotel was. The beds were nice, big, and comfortable. There were plenty of stores nearby, (Starbucks, etc.) Fort Smith seemed like a charming little town. The bathtub was nice and clean, the only problem I had was I didn't know how to get the showerhead to work. You need to pull down on the bathtub faucet to get the showerhead on! Breakfast was delicious, the eggs were well-seasoned, the waffle maker was nice, and they had biscuits and gravy which I thought was very Southern.

We had a pleasant stay, no complaints!

Consistently A Great a place to Stay! Each morning there was a well stocked Breakfast with: hot eggs, sausage, biscuit n gravy, and instant oatmeal pks. They also had cold cereal, milk, bananas, apples, toast,muffins,and bagels . The coffee is always good! Break area is very clean and comfortable. There are two tvs with morning news. Beds are very comfortable. Room is clean! They are dog friendly! And family friendly. Excellent staff, always clean, always comfortable. We have stayed several times recently! Always a great experience.

The beds and pillows were good and the breakfast had a good variety with someone keeping everything stocked and clean. There was a nice pool, though we didn't swim. It's far enough from major streets that there wasn't traffic noise.

They are clearly remodeling. There wasn't any carpet in the hall outside our third-story room, meaning you could hear everyone walking by. That could become annoying if there were a lot of guests, but there weren't on our nights.

This is my favorite hotel in Ft Smith! It is very clean and comfortable! The staff is friendly and helpful. They are pet friendly too. The coffee is good and the breakfast has biscuits & gravy, waffles, sausage, eggs, cereal, oatmeal, yorgurt, bagels, muffins... You can walk to Chic Filet, Chili, and Outback.... Rooms are a good size! Beds are so comfy... They have microwaves and refrigerators as well My favorite is the King Deluxe with the extra sofa. I just booked to stay there next month!

The reception desk and room service staff were exceptional. We enjoyed a nice breakfast, but was very disappointed in the person staffing the breakfast room. She had to be asked for several things to be brought out to the bar. Water, biscuits, and most surprising of all no coffee though there were two carafes available. There were several people at the buffet, but it was not by any means full (8-10 people at most). Both trash cans were overflowing making it difficult to dispose of our dishes. when approached the staff person was in the adjoining room on her cell phone. We were not the only customers who asked for some assistance with additional items. Not the kind of staff person we have encounter at other hotels, nor typical of La Quinta.

the employees were so nice. the staff of cleaners were great. my room was nice and clean. it was very warm 10 pm at 78 degrees but that’s understandable.

the tv was old and not really working with the remote. checked in at 10 pm so didn’t want the hassle but needed the tv for the morning to work. The nice front desk gal came right away to program the remote but she couldn’t fix the volume or on off buttons. so it was working but you had to manually control.

overall it was excellent. The cost was excellent location was great.

The property was obviously remodeled recently and initially looked outstanding. But comparing it to other La Quinta properties we stayed on this trip it just did not match up. They did a great job of putting in MOST of the upgrades but cut a lot of corners. The room had a worn out old school flat screen TV, with a bad screen. The shower was old and they didn’t paint to cover old shower curtain rod holes and different color paint on the wall. this was just a small part of the cut corners to save money.

My brother had a very early appointment at Mercy Orthopedics. La Quinta was great value for the location I needed. Eateries very close by that we could’ve chose to walk but since the summer heat, we drove to get dinner.

The shower control instructions were illegible. I tried to guess what it said so I could finally use the shower. Lol Every shower is different. It was a new educated experience with that.

Our room was very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. Was easy to find staff was very nice. It’s also very quiet the place was full but no sound issues at all

The biggest challenge was the lack of parking space, water pressure is very low and the lighting in the bathroom is awful

Staff was great, very respectful and seemed like everyone was happy to be their. My favorite thing was how cozy the beds are. The location is great, we felt very safe in this area. Its surrounded by nice restaurants, grocery stores a few blocks in one direction and freeway only few blocks in the other direction. Continental Breakfast with eggs gravy and meat, the overall value of our stay was well worth it.
