Beachway Inn

This place is in a great location - 5 minutes away from the Village. While the motel is an older one, our room was very clean and comfortable. The owner, Sophie, was very kind and considerate when I called to say we would be arriving 2 days later than we originally reserved. There are pretty flowers and tomatoes planted at the end of the parking lot which adds a bit of color. We would stay there again.

We thought there was a restaurant or at least a breakfast room. There isn’t one. We had to go to CJ’s Cafe next door, which was a good diner. However, for me, even the short walk was difficult because I am on crutches.

Easy checking in and the experience was GREAT! It is near IMPOSSIBLE to find a MOTEL, that’s right, you heard me right, a MOTEL that has non-Smoking rooms. At this hotel, every room is non-Smoking and that made the whole experience worth it. I will definitely stay here from now on.

There was a smell in the room. Not of cigarettes, thank god! It looked the fridge was left unplugged and the fridge door was left opened, so it had a mildew smell. Aside from that, I would definitely stay here again. The shower water pressure is amazing!

The room had a big desk. There was a small refrigerator and a microwave. I tend to cook my own food so this is a huge plus. The cafe in the property next to the Beachway is called CJ's Cafe. It seems to have huge business although I did not get to eat there.

The room next to me started partying at 3:00 am one night. They seemed to be a popular person as well although I never saw the person's face. No big deal. I put on my headphones and listened to sleep music. But I must admit when I got woken up I was a bit peeved. I got over it and successfully went back to sleep.

Our room was perfectly clean, and I’m picky. It had a fridge and microwave and all standard immunities one needs after a long day. The beds were very comfortable with nice pillows. We were close to the freeway and went to In N Out at midnight after we arrived which was 4 minutes away. The area was safe and quiet and the gentleman that checked us in was very personable and quick and offered water for our water bottles, which was very thoughtful. The decor wasn’t fancy, but it checked all the boxes for a comfortable night, which is what we were looking for. We will definitely stay there again.

I only have good things to say.

The spacious room was very clean and smelled great. The bed was comfy and the linens felt clean. The staff were efficient and responsive to my needs.

I really would like to have a hand-held shower head in order to completely remove soap. Also I wish there was a safety handle in the bathing area. The tile floor was slippery and a handle would give more security.

Room was excellent nice and big had microwave refrigerator and coffee maker it was quiet and very pleasant area staff was very friendly and helpful I went with my family and we were able to get our rooms by each other as asked I will definitely recommend staying there and we will definitely be reserving rooms there again on our next family vacation

On a Main Street, but room was not noisy.

The narrow driveway is between the building and a short brick wall. Most people, like me, pull into the parking lot of the restaurant next door. The hotel parking lot is behind the building. No ice machine. I was told I could go across the street and buy some at the gas station.

It was a simple room for a great price. The staff member was very friendly and welcoming. They had just purchased new beds and upgraded our room so we could try it out. It was in a great location and was much cheaper than other places in the area. Because of COVID, they did not serve breakfast, but there is a nice diner next door.

The table was the size of a night stand, which may be a problem for someone who needs a table to work at. The room was a little older and smaller than most hotels but as I said, It was great for the price.

Overnight stay, clean, comfortable beds, Microwave, fridge, tea and coffee, shower was good, a few minutes until the water became hot that's just being picky. Free parking. Excellent value for money.

We were only there for one night.

Location is great, the room was clean and quiet. The manager was fantastic and very welcoming. In only a few feet you have one of Arroyo Grande’s fun comfort food restaurants with large portions. Come hungry!

I wish they had a ice machine, nothing major.
