Hampton Inn & Suites Arroyo Grande

Its a great location even though its not on the beach its close to everything in the 5 Cities area. The breakfast is also very good option. The staff is great and will help you with anything you need. I have stayed here before and would consider staying here again when I'm in this area again. I wish I knew the name of one of the staff members. She has the greatest smile and she is just happy to help you and will make you smile too . Very professional and always busy

The only thing I didnt like was the shower stall in our room,it could use a freshing up.

The staff here was amazing. Stephanie, who was at the front desk when we arrived was warm and welcoming. Phillip, on night shift was helpful. Aryssa in the breakfast room produced miracles when she realized my dietary needs. Such a great staff. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, the breakfast was very nice.

When we arrived, it was night. While there was a large, brightly lit sign on the freeway side, the hotel entrance was on the opposite side of the building. There was very little signage, and it was hard to see. While I understand low key branding, a bit more at the entrance would have been useful. Maybe the logo on the welcome mat? Or on the glass door?

This hotel is in a perfect location for us when we visit local family. Easy on, easy off access to freeway. Close to stores, food and gas. The beds were comfortable, rooms had enough room to move around. The breakfast provides enough food that there is something for everyone to enjoy to start your day.

It's a little nosier than some hotels as you can hear the freeway traffic.

Hot breakfast was just the right variety. Also a variety of cereal that the kids enjoyed. Location was less than 5 minutes to central pismo. We will definitely stay there again. And walmart was a small walk away in case you forgot something.

I didn't seem to find a place for a BBQ.

The breakfast selection was great. they had options of making waffles, blueberry or vanilla. They had bagels, cereal, fruits, oatmeal, muffins, scrambled eggs and sausage. great selection. They had staff on hand to help if you needed help working the waffle make or if anything was running low they refilled it. for drinks they offered coffee, orange, water and other drink options.

Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast and the hours served worked well with our schedule.

The rooms were stuffy. Wasn't able to open window in one room. Requested rooms together. I was able to get two rooms on the same floor. But due to an APP glitch and lack of understanding my request from the representative on the phone, I was not able to get rooms next to each other. Due to the discontinued daily cleaning, it would be nice to have additional trash bags in the rooms. Room price was excessive but understandable for the location and season.

The staff were very friendly, parking was a breeze and our room was clean. Breakfast was good. Came here for a family trip and would definitely stay again.

Our room was missing a microwave. Not to big of a deal but with kids we wanted to warm up left overs and couldn’t.

Big comfortable bed. Clean and spacious room. Easy access from motorway and not far from other places.

breakfast quite poor but manage to get something to start my day. Like many other American Inn hotels, the breakfast is quite poor comparing to European ones. Rooms standard is lower too, comparing to EU standards. The beds are bigger but the rest of the room are not quite what I expected.

On the hill in AG, close to decent restaurants and retail. Ocean view from our room, desk staff went over and above with meeting our every need.

Some freeway noise when window open, shared vent system in bathroom which was awful when the guests in the room over ours were partying on our last Friday night there and decided to smoke weed and stomp around all night, which of course led to little sleep and our room stinking horribly.

All the staff members were very friendly and helpful. All the facilities were extremely well kept. Breakfast buffet wasn’t the best I have ever had but was very nicely presented and the staff in charge was very courteous. The breakfast area looks nice in general.
