Pismo Lighthouse Suites

The suite with double rooms & double beds was huge, well furnished & nicely decorated. Lovely balcony. We all enjoyed the semi-heated pool & hot tub, and the girls absolutely loved the outdoor play area. Very clean, comfortable beds. Free (very safe) parking & breakfast included. You can see the sea from the hotel, and lots of pelicans flying overhead near pool area. It’s about 30 mins walk along the beach to main pier area, a lovely walk

The inclusive breakfast was simple, though lacking in variety. But saying that, we all enjoyed something to eat & were grateful not to pay for breakfast.

Clean, Big rooms. Nice play area for family and kids. Great views. Water pressure in shower is great. Bath and Body Works care products is very nice. Bed is slightly in the firm side, but very comfy. Included Breakfast was said to be “continental”, but was full breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles, fruits, bagels, toast, cereals, 3 kinds of juice, gluten free muffins, etc. very good breakfast done cafeteria style with staff handling hot foods you to maintain hygiene. Two free high speed electric car chargers (one 48 amp all EV charger, one Tesla destination charger).

Every two rooms share a long narrow corridor to the entrance and doors are very close to each other. Hot water in shower took a bit to get warmed up. Water has a slightly weird smell, but I have water softener at my own house, so I might be overly sensitive. Two bed units are not available on the oceanfront rooms, but this might be too keep those rooms quieter with couples instead of families with kids.

We had to upgrade to another room to be further from the highway. The suite was huge - I think it was a handicap accessible room. The "partial" ocean view was great. There is a boardwalk along side the property that must go quite a ways along the ocean. Haylee (sp) at the front desk was very accommodating. Since the heater in the room didn't work, they removed the upgrade cost - I thought that was really nice. The breakfast was really good - lots of choices and a nice spot to sit in their "galley". Close enough to downtown.

A bit too close to the highway as far as noise goes. This is a family friendly property with a huge play area in the middle. Great for kids but in season I'm sure there is a fair amount of activity there. Heater didn't work but the fireplace put out some heat in one room.

Fantastic space! Twice the size of most places we have stayed. Nice large living room area! Great patio and view! We loved just sitting out and hearing the wind in the palms and the crashing waves! Very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed a great breakfast in the "Galley".

Having free water when you know that your water tastes terrible would make your guest have a more positive experience instead of charging for it. Also none of the pop machines worked and the staff did not seem to be concerned about that at all.

The 1bdrm suite with balcony and ocean view was perfect for our family. The breakfast provided was ok, all but the eggs were good. The eggs tasted like they were from a box. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool was small, we didn't use it. The property is directly by the ocean and you can take the stairs to go down to the sand. There's a beautiful walkway that crosses all the hotels on the bluff. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and very large for my family. We loved having 2 bathrooms. It was quiet except for the morning when our neighbor’s door kept slamming and waking us up. Daily breakfast was really good! The game area was a nice feature. The ice cream man showed up on the day of our arrival and it was my daughter’s birthday so it was special. Location was great! The view was amazing from the oceanfront suite although I wish it was more visible from the bedroom. There needs to be a large window next to the slider to take advantage of the view and give the room more light.

The pool was small and always full of people so it wasn’t really an option for us. The pull out sofa bed for my daughter was very uncomfortable. The bedroom has no view and it was a bit dark. The price was a little bit higher than I prefer.

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed with my girls. They loved it. I wished I would have done more research on the weather because I was expecting different weather. The Hotel made up for the lack of preparedness we were with weather.

I wished the jacuzzi was bigger since there were a lot of kids using it making difficult to take advantage of it. But the pool was awesome. I also wished we would have outside fireplace we could have enjoyed at night.

We stayed in a family suite and it was absolutely beautiful. spacious, clean and super comfortable. our room looked out over the playground. Our daughter loved the playground. It also was clean and fun fir all ages. Next time we would try and get a room that overlooks the beach. The only down fall with our room was we could hear the traffic. But we are from a very rural area so we are sensitive to sounds. They have a very nice continental breakfast with fresh fruits, pastries, sausage, eggs and mini waffles, yogurt, cereals and more.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Good for families. I like that they don't charge for parking, and there's a free breakfast. Short walk to the beach, and the Pier is an easy walk, maybe 10-15 minutes. Pool and hot tub is open until 10pm, which is nice. Was impressed that the staff does such a good job keeping things clean, like sweeping mopping the common areas. I'd stay there again.

It would be nice if they had fire pit out back, but there realistically wouldn't be space for one, unless they did a little fire table in the back patio area for people who got ground floor Oceanview. Certainly not a deal breaker.

I liked that they had an area for kids, Like an entire recreational area. The room was a perfect size ,I kind of wish we would have stayed longer. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

Nothing to complain about. Everything was great. Although I do wish there was a better access to the beach. I had an infant and 2 toddlers so the stairs were just a bit too steep to take any essentials with us. But thats something they have no control over. The view from our room was beautiful. I do wish check in was a little earlier so we didn't have to haul our stuff with us around town while we waited for our room to be ready. Other than that everything and everyone was great!
