Holiday Inn Express San Francisco Airport South, an IHG Hotel

Beautiful location on the water with a walking walking trail to Coyote Point. Gorgeous entrance lobby with free warm cookies in the evening, and a lovely free breakfast bar in the morning. The staff members were very friendly and genuinely warm. It was also very quiet. I stayed at the A LOFT as well, and I could here the planes coming and going from SFO. The sound proofing was much better at the Holiday Inn. Parking is only $20 a night while the other hotels charge $40 or more. I’ll definitely come back. Thanks, Holiday Inn!!

Perfect hotel for that overnight stay near SFO prior to flying out in the morning. Good balance of price ,location, clean comfortable rooms with hot breakfast included. Definitely will stay in the future.

Plenty of parking but uncovered rear lot. Breakfast area had limited seating

The shuttle to and from airport was very convenient. The staff was extremely helpful and one of the friendliest experiences. The breakfast was excellent each day. Each day there were different options all very tasty.

I honestly can not think of anything that would make our experience better. If I really was pressed to come up with something it would be the shower pressure. Unfortunately I find that with all hotels in California. I think they have low flow regulations.

You know I've worked in the hotel industry for a very long and I must say there is not one thing I can say that your hotel needs to improve in anything, the welcoming, friendliness and helpfulness of your staff was extremely welcoming.

staff was very friendly and accommodating. room was comfortable and near airport. they had a regular shuttle which helped to return for our connecting flight.

there were plug in air fresheners plugged in throughout the hallway. i’m allergic to air fresheners and don’t think they’re necessary when a place is adequately cleaned. fortunately wasn’t in the room and i could crack open windows in room so i could sleep.

Great pillows and beds! Good breakfast. I was there on,y for a few hours in a layover so a great pillow and bed w a nice warm shower meant the most and also a 5 min shuttle ride to the airport was ideal. This was my 3 stay at this hotel and I will keep coming back

The carpeting in the hallway made it really hard for me to roll my suit cases, but thankfully it was a short hallway

The location was an ideal choice because this hotel is just across the street from the Hyatt Regency which is where we were attending a conference. This hotel was also a few hundred dollars cheaper to stay at, yet it was still a great value which made it a no-brainer choice for us!

Shuttle was quick and friendly. Staff was attentive and kept the same ivlic areas very clean and presentable. Breakfast was good and well stocked. It seemed like everyone was always cleaning, so that was nice to see.

Hallways and doors to rooms could use an update. The carpet is old and the doors look like they came from an institution. Room itself was clean and well-appointed.

We stayed one night between a flight and a long drive, the hotel was exactly as we hoped - clean, comfortable, great shower (good water pressure), the staff were nice and answered all our questions happily. The location is good when catching a flight - very close to the airport, and also it's nice to watch the planes landing from the back yard of the hotel.

Had to pay for parking which is a bit of a bummer, but not much (around 12$ I think). Also, breakfast was not exactly to our taste but I guess that's just a cultural difference thing. Location, however close to the airport, is a bit sketchy - it's a bit scary to walk around by night.

The beds were exceptional, extremely comfortable. The room was very clean. The breakfast was great, good selection. All the staff we met were very helpful and courteous especially the front office staff we meet when we checked in.

The outside needs some work. The building needs to be painted. The foliage was in desperate need of a gardener. There were dead plants in planters outside the building. It definitely did not have curve appeal.
