Anchor Beach Inn

Very clean room that looked like it was recently updated. Walking distance to good restaurants. Ocean view room.

Requested an ocean view room, which was expensive but worth the extra cost because the non-ocean view rooms face a very sketchy looking RV park.

We were looking for a clean room with windows that open and lots of natural light. We enjoyed having a microwave and refrigerator. The separate sink from the bathroom was great. The ocean view and proximity to redwoods was perfect. Lots of choices for meals was a bonus.

Having an extra blanket and towels in the room. We made a request and were happily provided both but nice to have them without requesting.

Room was clean and well decorated. The view of the beach was nice. Despite being at the top of the stairs, noise from outside was not noticeable. Plenty of parking. Staff was very friendly.

Not much to add to this - one thing I did notice was that the bathroom surround needed new sealant around the wall. This is more of a suggestion than anything else to prevent issues of mold down the rroad.

Very close to the beach, free breakfast was a plus. Staff was very friendly and the check in was quick and easy. The Tesla charger was great, nice to get a free battery charge. Their EV charging was our main reason for booking this hotel.

Bed was a little hard for my comfort. Maybe other people prefer a firm mattress but my back was sore in the morning. Would be good if they painted EV Charging only in the spaces that have EV chargers. Many of the EV charging spaces were filled by non-EV cars that appeared to just not notice they were parked in front of a EV charger.

Our room was very nice. Bed was comfortable and everything seemed to be updated. The room itself was very clean and stocked with all the usual things you would expect. Not the best view but it didn't matter since we were really only there to sleep. The staff was friendly and very accommodating since we were travelling with our small dog. We requested a lower level room and they met our requests without any problems. Great wi-fi. Tested the speed and it was pretty fast. (during our stay it was about 65 Mbps). The room was exactly as pictured

I honestly can not think of anything negative to say. From booking our room, checking in and our stay itself, it was very positive. The only thing I would say was a negative was that our window faced a very busy street so we heard a lot of cars driving by or people being loud... that being said, it is what it is. The entire experience was very positive for us

Young lady at the front was super sweet - Room was very clean - The whole town felt a bit like a time warp in a quaint amazing way!

Disappointed in the "view" - There really isn't one - There is about a 50 spot RV/Camper paved parking lot right behind the hotel and you can't see anything really - At that price point I expected more.

It was clean and quiet. It sits south of the town of Crescent City on the beachside. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. The room was large and inviting. Freshly painted and the furniture wasn't scratched. There was TV with cable and a refer and microwave. I paid $109 for one night stay. I stayed on the main floor.

Well, I don't like plank vinyl flooring...it cheapens the room. I know it probably has it's advantages, however, it is uninviting. It also is quite noisy walking over. You could hear the neighbors walking above. While the room was well cared for it was rather austere. The room is painted in shades of blue, gray, and black. Kind of dismal and drab. That means the flooring was gray. There isn't a view out the back window. It is blocked by an adjacent property, so one can't see the harbor or the beach. Only the rooms facing the south can see the ocean. All in all it is an average room. During the summer it prices people out by raising the room rate up close to $300 a night,,,way too much.

View was of the rv parking in back, room was great,Staff was great and location was right next to the beach. Would stay here again.

Only a few things were not to expectations. The jacuzzi tub was very dirty, when I turned it on big chunks of debris came out. The family and I just did not use it. The sofa pull out bed was very outdated and uncomfortable. The price was WAY too high. For the 4th of July I spent over $500 for one night..

The room was very clean. The view of the south beach was good, enhanced by the room's bay window. Seating choices were excellent. The staff was pleasant and helpful concerning local attractions and dining choices. The beds were very comfortable, and the pillows firm and numerous.

The only thing we noticed was that the south-facing rooms are also next to the jetty road and its marina and park; so, there was a lot of daytime traffic.

We have always stayed at your establishment and enjoyed every stay.

The noise from a basketball team that the adults didn’t control. Saturday was worse then Friday. Woke up our grandsons at midnight and they were not quiet until after 2:00 am.
