Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites San Diego-Escondido, an IHG Hotel

amazing staff! so great from how they addressed me arriving & leaving! too bad they book so quick. i don’t blame anyone it’s amazing staying here lovely staff! 5/5 for staff! kids loved the pool and breakfast was a plus ! thank you for satisfying me and my family, i love the holiday inn!

nothing, it was all perfect! from checking in to checking out! great location with all the businesses around made it easier for me if i needed anything there is tons of stores around.

Loved the size of the room, the breakfast, location. Close to many restaurants fast food places and freeway. My kids loved the hotel including all the space and breakfast. Very EASY to get around in and out traffic just go around so obvious not sure how other people couldn't figure that out!

Didnt like the front desk didnt remind me to request housekeeping. Didnt like the rude girl at the desk who thought she was doing me a favor giving me towels so i could bath my kids. I paid for the room and she should do her job without eye rolling or scoffing. I was gonna yell at her as she truly deserved it but decided not to because I am a better human than her. Did not let that rude front deak clerk ruin my stay.

Everything was very clean, and in working order. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast and appreciated all the food options.

The bathroom was small, with very little space to put one's toiletries. The kitchen was disappointing, with no utensils, or supplies. Not even a roll of paper towels, which would have been nice.

It was very neat and tidy. And the TV and the fridge were a nice touch! I also liked that, being on the first floor, I could see out but no one could see in.

The bed was WAY too high (and I'm 5'7"). When my feet dangle over the floor, that feels awkward.

Breakfast was a great assortment from cereal, egg omelettes to pancakes. It was the perfect start to the day. The location of the Hotel was the best! Very close to freeway access and plenty of restaurants and eateries to choose from.

There were two things that stood out that were not to my liking was that I stayed on the first floor next to the door and it was very noisy all night long. It was my choice to stay on the first floor, I might think differently next time. Also would recommend a carpet upgrade.

I was very happily surprised by this hotel! very clean, super comfy bed and pillows… so good I asked if I could buy a pillow, but sadly they couldn’t do that. The blackout blinds were amazing,I thought I woke up in the middle of the night and it was 8am. The breakfast wasn’t the usual packet danish and cold coffee but Oatmeal, bacon and eggs etc. I will definitely choose one of these locations again.

Breakfast room was crowded. The table where we sat was not cleaned properly after the previous guest had the breakfast. Breakfast time was 6:30 am to 9:30 am. But I saw a gentle lady who came at 9:30 am but kitchen door was closed and guest was embarrassed. At the end of the breakfast I went for the juice but in orange juice machine only water came instead of the juice. I asked the responsible lady and she told its almost 9:30 am, so the orange juice was finished. I hope the authority will take care of these.

Have no complaints, why do you ask a question that has no salt to it? People were born whining about there comforts, but you really won’t like my answer

The entrance to the hotel was terrible because the line for in and out burger was blocking the entrance to the hotel

This hotel was in an area where there are many options of food choices and shopping. Close to freeway accessibility.

Only entrance is through the In N Out drive through. Also, you could hear everything that was happening in the hallway. Other doors opening and closing, people walking by. Also, when checking in, the price had doubled when I went to pay. I questioned the amount before paying, pulled up my confirmation, staff then changed the price to what my confirmation amount said.
